I am trying have a data grid selection populate a form. I am new to this.Basically I have a connection persistance object and I would like to call that and call a stored procedure with the value of the selection. The datagrid is bound to an object.
osheet.Range("A1").Select 'The line below is the one I would like to know how should I write it in VB.NET: osheet.Range(Selection, Selection.end(xlDown)).Select
I'm trying to write a Vistual Studio 2008 macro to run a stored TFS query and display the results.Previously I've created a query and named it 'Assigned to Me' to display all the work items currently assigned to me.Instead of View->Team Explorer, click, click down the tree to My Queries then double click 'Assigned to me' I want to write a macro to automate these steps.
Sub TemporaryMacro() DTE.Windows.Item("{131369F2-062D-44A2-8671-91FF31EFB4F4}").Activate() 'Team Explorer DTE.ActiveWindow.Object.GetItem("tfsserverMyProjectWork ItemsMy QueriesAssigned to Me").Select(vsUISelectionType.vsUISelectionTypeSelect)
I am using this code to select a folder.how to do the same kind of thing selecting a file instead of an folder.
Private Sub PathButtonB_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles PathButtonB.Click Using FolderBrowserDialog As New FolderBrowserDialog With FolderBrowserDialog .Description = "Kies die Folder waar hierdie ResepteBoek die Kunswerke vir sy Resepte moet gaan soek." .ShowNewFolderButton = False
Here's the program. there are five categories say a, b, c, d, e, each in a textbox (color blue). There will be a command button say "choose". If i click the choose button, it will randomly choose one category and that corresponding textbox example "a" will change color(color yellow). Then if I want to click the choose button again, the selected category "a" from the first selection will change to gray, then a new category will be randomly chosen without "a" in the list and again will change to color yellow. and so on. So I can click the choose button five times, exhausting the five categories without repeating the category that was already selected.
If I add a WindowEvents_WindowActivated handler to my Visual Studio 2005 Macros EnvironmentEvents module, I get a weird side-effect: when I click from one window to another in Visual Studio, that click is treated as a double click.
This is a WinForm VB.NET application. Please see the picture below:How to add a line break in a multi line textbox in Visual Studio designer's property section?I tried using abc & Environment.NewLine & def but that was not working.
I want to build a macro which adds a ; to every line end, which hasn't already got one and is not empty or a { or }. I use C# in Visual Studio 2010 Professional so I probably need a VB Macro. I need it because I have to migrate Unittest from VBS to C# (Don't ask why). So I got thousands of lines like foo="53" bazz=1337 I do not care if support is dropped, I should be done in some weeks. Also if there is one ; put in to much, i still review the code later.
I am making my first windows forms application in VS2010 and I am having trouble with arrays. I have code that dim's an array 'TabSiteInfo(2,20)' as a string. Then, I have a Loop that adds records to the array. The problem is that my array is not filling values from the loop. I know VS2010 handles arrays differently, but I have this same code working fine for me in VS2008 ASP.NET application. Below is a sample of the code.
i notice that when i start next line of code and i press enter, it recompacts itself and the continued line moves left a bit... then if i place focus on the second line and press enter again, it (the second line) moves to the left some more, and it keeps doing this every time i focus on second line and press enter. how can i make it so that my second (and third etc) lines are formatted in a pre-determined way so they are always a certain amount of tabs indented to the right from where my line 1 starts?
Create a new web form Go into code behind file Create the Page_Load event enter the following [code]When you type " right after the word with, Visual Studio will hang.
WebMatrix is a web development and deployment tool by Microsoft so how is this compared to Visual Studio? which Use C# Razor Syntax is that more better coding.
I am creating a VB application in Visual Studio 2010 that installs some SQL stored procedures. These stored procedures are encrypted otherwise I would just supply my clients with .sql files to create the stored procedures.
The install script that creates the stored procedure is 1500 lines in length and has been formatted in the way VS 2010 requires multi-line literals to be in:
I have to compile projects which was compiled in Visual Studio 6 in Visual Studio 2005. When i compiled i got a set of same error. I opened the project for VS6 by selecting File->open->project/solution and tried to build a solution by Build option but i am getting the following error.
I have to develop an application using MS Visual Studio 2005 or above with the following objective:
* The application should allow users to create as many new forms as they want and each form should behave like a MS Visual Studio WinForm. By saying that it should be a container for drag and drop of controls from the toolbox that I will develop....
* Once the user design's each screen to his taste by placing various controls on the form, he should be able to save the form as a screen. Of course I have to provide functionality for each of the controls such as if he drags a button on to the form, he should be able to specify what action it has to perfom when clicked when the application is put into run mode. Quite similar to regular windows form button.
* My application should have two modes: a DESIGN MODE, where user can drag, drop controls and specify what they should do when put into RUN MODE. This is quite similar to MS Visual Studio designer.
* Last but not least is to be able to access the application via the browser with the same look and feel his desktop version.

When I open two very small MVC 3 partial view file (*.vbhtml) in Visual Studio 2010 Express SP1, I get a "Syntax Error." with no Line or Column defined. Visual Studio does not tell me what's wrong with these partial view.
I have a Visual Basic project and when working and modifying code, the compiler will crash and then a message will say something like "Microsoft visual studio encountered a problem and was shut down." I've tried editing code from the solution and the project. Both produce the error. Usually occurs when adding an "IF...Then..." condition. May work for hours but then crash. Solution will compile and build.
