Was just wondering how you can write multiple values from a list box to a html file. I have 6 list boxes. 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 and would like the date to go like this:

I am creating a program that allows a person to enter details about their farm, stock, and machinery in order to electronically keep track of all of the information. I have created the forms and done all the coding for the data entry, and now what I would like to do is allow the user to delete a single record from the .dat file. I am able to delete it from the LstBox (using a "Delete Entry" btn coded simply with
lstvehicles.Items.RemoveAt(lstvehicles.SelectedIndex)
(using the vehicles section for examples)), but I am unsure of how to delete it from the .dat file as well, to prevent it reloading upon data change / program reload. Also I would like to be able to have a reminder come up on the program start up that gives a reminder to (in the vehicles instance)when a vehicles rego is due, the date being associated to a date that is entered into the same lstbox data using a datetimepicker.

AIQ is a VB.Net app deployed via ClickOnce. It is an intranet app; one can be sure MS Office 2003 and the interop 11 dlls are on the target machines.

- One being on each form I have a virtual receipt named lstbox, and I have multiple forms! The problem is the content of each form is not transfering to the next virtual receipt on the next form e.g. drinks selection form 1 you select a tea, it adds to the virtual receipt, but when you hit the button to go to the next selection form, the content of the virtual receipt does not carry over. Could you please help me ?
- Secondly, I have a payment form on my till interface which obviously allows the user to finalise the transaction by taking payment from a customer, what would be appropriate code to use for when working out customers change e.g. If you hit a �10.00 button for customers change, and the charge of the transaction is �6.00 - I wish for an output of amount of change to go to the customer!
Note - I have a vat, subtotal and total text box for where the data displays. So whether to take away from the total text box and work out change that way, or to use the correct variables in my program such as itemcost variable, order variable etc.

This may sound really stupid but I have to ask cause I'm not finding this answer anywhere.I have an application where the user will need to sign up for a new user account on the website [URL]..However when I am using Firefox's plug-in Firebug to view html I am getting something totally different than when I just right click on the site and view the page source.
What I am trying to do is to get the captcha from the website and display it in a picturebox on the application so the user can view the captcha, solve the captcha and then the app post is back to the service for a response.

I have another question.I have taken an HTML file called "template.html" and got its content. Then I change some variables and save it to a new file in the same directory. Afterwards, there is something else I need to do before saving but I don't know how.In the template.html file, I have a table which should represent a table from a SQL database which means I would need to loop it. I have just recently been using VB 2010 after using VB5. I have noticed a lot of changes. The problem I have is that I wish to open and save text files to and from arrays in the background. I've attached what I would do in VB5. I have searched around, but all the examples I find use a Textbox instead of an array. Can anyone show me how I can do this with VB 2010?

I am attempting to gather a group of file names from a directory. I am able to do this. I tested the code by having the list populate into a listbox and all desired items were added to the list.
Here is my code:

I am working on a program using VB.Net 2010 which will enable me to setup groups of files & folders for back up with syncing capabilities etc. I have a concept program which is based on some sample code I found out in one of the VB.Net forums. I have modified it from a command line based program to a form based program. At the moment I consider this code to be a "concept" program which once I have the various copy/sync routines developed and debugged will be integrated in to another program I wrote for
creating "Back Up" groups to automate the process. There are some 3rd party programs that do similar things that I want to do such as Microsofts Sync Toy, but none of them offer the grouping and exclusions options that I am going to program in to this backup/sync program.
So here is my problem, I have the included code taking two folders, a source and a destination, and copying everything from the source to the destination. It will skip over any unchanged files/folders and will delete anything found in the destination folder that is not found in the source folder and it will update all files in the destination folder that have a newer version in the source folder. In other words it will mirror image the source to the destination but will be smart enough not to copy unchanged items from the source to the destination thereby saving a lot of time. The sync part of the program is working fine, the displaying of the progress and results is not.

Well I'm in the middle of making a program to edit .ini files. Although I have hit a snag. I can save my settings (relies off checkboxes) with ease, however if I change something and/or hit the save button again even after the code has finished, both my entire .ini files are cleared (filePath and filePathPrefs) and all text is gone. Im having trouble creating and then writing to a file. First, I check to see if the file exists, if it does not, then I create the file, close it, and then open again for appending text.
