Adding An Extension To The Extensions Panel - Getting "Computer Is Not A Member Of My" Error ?

This error is exceptionally annoying.I've done various searches, and have been able to fix this issue.I am one of several developers on the application and the only one with the issue. I've fixed it before temporarily by adding an extension to the My Extensions panel in the project's properties (which generates a different error) and then removing that new extension.That made the error go away.
If Not My.Computer.Network.IsAvailable Then
ISConnectedToNetwork = False[code]....
Gives the error:'Computer' is not a member of 'My'.

I installed VS2010 SP1/TFS2010 SP1. Now VB solutions that built successfully now fail Rebuild with massive lists of errors, eg:

I have the following extension method that I've built and have working for one MVC3 project, but when trying to use it in another, the compiler (not the view) gives me the error;Error 1 'TextBoxFor' is not a member of 'System.Web.Mvc.HtmlHelper(Of TModel)'...Intellisense shows none of these html element shorcut methods.I'm sure it's just because I'm missing a reference or something, but beats me what it is.

I am using this code to to generate a crystal report from aa sql string that i construct using a supplied table name and some column names in txtSQL.This code contains functionality to export to ms word.However when the save dialog comes up and the user enters the intended filename.and saves the document.when the user attempts to open the document they have to use"open with" because the save dialog does not add an extension to the file so my question is how can i add an extension for tthe user programmatically.This is my first time using save dialog

I've been trying to publish some software for 2 days. At first, I received an error about frontpage extensions not being installed so I installed them, only to screwup the ht.access file on my site and lose my web site for 5 hours.
I had an email this morning from Lunarpages saying they installed the extensions, recoded the ht.access and even tested frontpage on it. SO -- I tried again this morning and still received "the components for the frontpage extensions are not installed". ?
AND --I must be missing something and looked everywhere in VB.NET (options etc) but how in the heck can you publish something directly to your website (I used the wizard and setup all the publish options) and NOT be prompted for your user ID and password? Obviously, VB.NET has it's own ftp program.

The problem is that I need the variable "w" , after readallLines , to have a .txt extension. I tried this:

In the following code i get a warning at line 59:Warning 1: Access of shared member, constant member, enum member or nested type through an instance; qualifying expression will not be evaluated.and.. At line 78 I get this Warning:
Warning 2 Property 'SelectedCustomer' doesn't return a value on all code paths. A null reference exception could occur at run time when the result is used.
The program compiles and runs well, but i cant' undesrtand the reason for these warnings. Any Idea ?

I am facing another error "An error occurred trying to load the page. Member not found. I am trying to add controls to a Panel in a loop, but for some reason they are being added from the bottom up instead of top down.In a little test program I am running this

And this is the result I get ... the controls are added starting at the bottom. I need them to start at the top of the panel, with each new control being added under the previous one. If I remove the Dock statement, then the controls just get added on top of each other.

So I'm adding a tab panel to a child window. A lot of our controls here are user defined but this looks like an ExtJS issue. When I add a tab panel, and then try and add controls and stuff to that panel, everything is cut off on that panel.
Here is the code I am using:

I can't even see the dropdown at all unless I scroll on the tiny little scroll bar it creates. It gives like a quarter inch on the screen to see anything inside the tab panel. There is no size property on the tab panel from what I can see.

I am working on a project for a handheld in Visual Studio 2008 where I need to add a group of labels to a panel that correspond to a record on the database. The record is a "Pass/Fail" Record. So, if the record is a "Fail", the failed items will be added below the main group of labels; therefore, many child groups of labels will be added below the main group, which is theoretically the header record. I am using a second panel to add the failed items. My issue is how to dynamically add, name, and position the failed item labels and panels. Below, I have included a sample of what I am trying to accomplish.

I have a parent panel with child panels that contain images. I am looping through the panels to save the images in the order the panels appear in the parent panel. [code] I can also re-arrange the panels via mouse. The problem is that when they are rearranged, they do not retain their order when saved.. They simply are saved in the order they were added to the parent panel.So my question is, does the for loop use the index set when adding the panel? If so, how can I manipulate the index in runtime while arranging the panels via mouse.

I have a program with three tabs. On tab one I use a folder browser dialogue and load file names into a listbox. These are usually ".tif" image files but could be other image formats. I save the folder location in a variable. On tab 2 I have a Flow Layout Panel. I need to 1) use that folder location on tab 1 as the source of files to be loaded into the flow layout panel and have it do so when I use the Folder Browser Dialogue; 2) I need to click on these tab2 images (in the Flow Layout Panel) to select them, and to trigger events. Mainly create a list of selected image thumbnails.

I am fooling around with VB for a while now and it is not the first time I created custom controls to use in an application. The situation: I have a database application (FormView / not GridView). The form is designed the following way: At the left I have a Panel1 with TextBoxes and other controls to view / edit dataset records. At the right I have a Panel2 which contains on default a custom control (a number of PictureBoxes mainly) to view / add / delete pictures associated with the currently viewed data record.
On a ButtonClick at a special button on the ToolStrip, I would like to replace that custom control in Panel2 with another custom control (which contains a search with different search possibilities), so, I basically throw out the PictureControl and load a SearchControl instead. This is the first time where I actually designed the custom controls within the actual project. In past, I always developed the custom controls seperately in a new project and later imported the dll. However, my first attempt just does not work and I don't even know where I should start troubleshooting since I don't get any errors.

I have a Data Repeater to which I need to add x number of images depending on their existence in the database.I need the images added within hyperlinks for Javascript functionality. In order to dynamically add the hyperlinks and images I have placed them within a panel in the data repeater and am adding them in the ItemDataBound event.The problem is that only the first image is being written to the datarepeater.[code]
