I have 2 button in ASP.net, when i pressed button1 my div innerhtml changed to some value. and when I press the button2 my datagrid will display in the same div.
how can i display the datagrid inside the div at runtime.
I am wondering if there is any code guide to teach me how to enable the user to draw as many buttons as possible on the windows form and be able to move and resize the buttons on the GUI and also tie the buttons to the timer to toggle the button colour when ever a condition is true

I have on my form two datagridviews that correspond to the same table. They are both databound. They have been created automatically through dragging them from the datasources windows.One is datagridview and the other datagridview1. When ever I navigate through a datagrid the corresponding row on the other grid changes as well. I do not want this. Also I want to be able to fill and use each datagrid indepentent from each other. To fill a datagridview on load I use this code

I switch the datagridbinding source to multiple data sets. Inside some of these custom classes are a couple lists. I can get text and checkboxes to auto-generate correctly. When it comes across my array (I have tried many different kinds) I just see a textboxcolumn with the words (Collection) in it.
For instance - One screen I am grabbing system information on WMI calls. One of the calls returns all IP addresses on the server (We can have up to 8 IP addresses) I do not want a column per IP address. I would like to include a list of those into the datagrid so you can drop down and see them.

View 11 RepliesI moved this from the debugger thread as I got no responses.This may be a better area.I have a problem enabling a Scrollbar on a custom control I have created.The custom control has one component,the scrollbar and an area that I draw upon from an internal datasource.Think something like a textbox.In certain instances,I want the scrollbar to be enabled. The Custom Control's job is to do this when the situtation is appropriate.I have a very simple piece of code here:

This code is in my OnPaint routine (along with a bunch of other drawing related stuff).Essentially I've determined that there is more stuff to display than the area of the control and need to turn on the scrollbar to give the user of the control the ability to see later stuff.With the exception of this funny behavior, the control is doing exactly what I want.I step through this and have a watch set.I can step through the set to True, but the Enabled value doesn't change.Even the EnabledChanged event fires (Doesn't on the set to False because it's already False), but the Enabled value is still False.I don't know why.Now here is the really interesting part and may give somebody an idea about what's happening: I can change the Enabled value via the debugger (via the Watch) to True.The EventChanged will fire, and from that point on I can set the Enabled value to either True or False and back again with no problems.
I even did some really crazy testing to see if perhaps the debugger just wasn't showing something.

In my program I have two combo boxes next to eachother. When a certain option is selected in the first combo box, I want the second to enable itself. Obviously this is easy to do by using combobox2.enabled = true but I have 10 rows of boxes that need to do this and I want to put all the functionality into one sub. It's possible to read the tabindex into a variable by using VAR = sender.tabindex and then add 10 to that variable (The box that needs to be enabled will always have a tab index of sender + 10) but I can't figure out how I'd use the tab index to enable it. If only I could just type sender.tabindex(+10).enabled = true

When creating a windows form that contains 2 of the mentioned usercontrol i gate for example c1 and c2 where both contains for sure the datagridview and the toolstrip hving the same control name for example G and t. in my case i want to apply the security on each form, i do this by reading the access of each control inside the windows form and if the control on the form was a user control then i dont consider it as one entity instead but as a grid alone and a toolstrip alone in order to be able to apply its security accordingly. but in ma case, if i want to disable the first grid and enable the 2nd i wont be able to do so since both grids have the same name. is there any solution for the above.
View 2 RepliesI am wanting to enable scrolling via Page Up/down keys, arrow keys etc as well as using a multi-touch touch screen (just need to drag your finger any where on the web browser control), but I do not want to be able to see the scrollbars. All of this works when:
WebBrowser1.ScrollBarsEnabled = (True)
But if I set to false it disables not just the scroll bars but also scrolling. Does anyone know a work around to this?

This question is about VB.NET. I'm quite a novice on this one, so please forgive me if you feel that this question is nothing short of crazy or whatever. Anyway, I've been a creating a simple Windows addressbook Form application. We all know for a fact that a single person can have one or more addresses, of which a one-to-many relationship holds true. So there, my application also has to be able to edit each of these addresses (by the way, my application uses an Access Database, which really sucks but it's part of my task), and I already thought of using a control array (just like in PHP but it obviously never worked in .NET) for me to edit them. How am I supposed to implement this?
