I am trying to decrypt my password stored in aspnet_membership table... I am using the following code,

but at the line of DecryptPassword(encodedPassword) it shows error as "Length of the data to decrypt is invalid."
Let's say a create a new project consisting of form1, sized at 400x400.I add a datagridview box of say 350x350 in size.Now that looks fine when the program is run. Except if the user increases the size of the window - or even worse maximises the window on a high res screen. Now my lovely 350x350 datagridview box looks silly on the huge empty background.Is there a way to set the datagridview box to increase in size automatically as the window grows?

Software should also be able to allow the users to enter simple messages that either displays the encrypted or decrypted message. The encryption method should use a simple substitution method. It should be set out in the following format:
Example (the "@" is the separator):

Has to use the 256 ASCII character codes. The separator will be used to separate the character and its corresponding code.Here are the pseudocodes I have come up with:

View 4 RepliesI have designing a desktop application using VB.NET 2008 & SQL Server 2005.In my Application i have a frmUserRegistration to add a user & frmLogin to login to my application.i can add the user details in the database but my password seems to be in characters.Login form also works using my method. BUT MY PROBLEM IS THAT I DONT KNOW HOW TO STORE THE USER PASSWORD IN ENCRYPTED MANNER TO THE SQL DATABASE AND DECRYPT THE PASSWORD WHEN USER LOGIN TO MY APPLICATION.

Once en/decrypted, the user will be asked if they want to delete the file that was used, and, in the case of decryption, open the newly decrypted file.

I currently have this working already for one of my combo box's, but when i try to use the same code i get this error ''There is no row at position 6.'' . The are 2 fields in the table asset_type_id, asset_type_name', im trying to dispaly the values in a combo box for the field 'asset_type_name.

My combobox is manually connected to a database and also the other controls. When I fill the blanks and hit save, automatically the data is saved in my db and when I look into my combobox I see the new employee name. When I select a name, every control get filled. I have a picture box where the selected picture profile will be display. The picture will be display also when I select a name from a combobox. It will be retrieve from db table GeneralInfo Column Foto. What I need is to include in my sql statements the code to be able to save, update and delete the image from and to db.

I have a very specifically designed table in a .aspx page. I have an <asp:SqlDataSource> tag that works fine with a DetailsView. I have tried DetailsView, ListView, Gridview etc. and cannot obtain the desired design. Is it possible to execute a Stored Procedure and have the individual results displayed in the individual cells of a web page table? This seems like it should be simple but it apparently is not.
