I've seen the other posts referencing C# syntax do do this, but I can't find how to do it using VB.NET. I swear I'm daft. I keep trying different variations that I think would work but I'm missing it.
C# Syntax is:

I have a problem of getting the string from the html class. When I debugged the project and I clicked the button, httprequest was connecting to the site then reading the pattern string from html class to get string, but it filled as a blank text.

I an trying to work regards with the pattern string as "showChannel", which it doesn't filled the string from the html class. I want the pattern string to get the string from the html class such as like this:

now I have a dondition in my code behind where if a certain situation is true I need to remove the forceHeight class from this control. I know in C# you can use:

View 13 RepliesThis may sound really stupid but I have to ask cause I'm not finding this answer anywhere.I have an application where the user will need to sign up for a new user account on the website [URL]..However when I am using Firefox's plug-in Firebug to view html I am getting something totally different than when I just right click on the site and view the page source.
What I am trying to do is to get the captcha from the website and display it in a picturebox on the application so the user can view the captcha, solve the captcha and then the app post is back to the service for a response.

Why would the two be showing me two different versions of the HTML?
And how would you be able to grab that source to view in a picturebox using webclient?

AIQ is a VB.Net app deployed via ClickOnce. It is an intranet app; one can be sure MS Office 2003 and the interop 11 dlls are on the target machines.

I need to grab some data from a webpage but for me the main problem is I can't grab the data the way I want. I want to grab the data in a listview control but my code is fetching all data within any span tag (span class "inputFieldLabel" which is not required) in a single column of a listview control. I have two user controls that need to add a class atribute to the body tag of my page, however they currently over write one another if I just use Body.Attributes.Add("class","value") So I need to check if the class attribute exsists and if it already contains the value Im going to add.

EDIT: The contain constraint doesnt return the expected value, resulting the the class not been concatinated, Example: add class "dog" then I a different instance of the same control tries to add "dog" but the contains("dog") returns false

Need a bit of help with HTML Agility Pack!Basically I want to grab plain-text withing the body node of the HTML. So far I have tried this in vb.net and it fails to return the innertext meaning no change is seen, well atleast from what I can see.

I am trying save a value from an input tag in some HTML source code. The tag looks like so:

I have the page source in a variable (pageSourceCode), and need to work out some regex to get the value (3 in this example). I have this so far: [Code] Which works fine most of the time, however this code is used to process source code from multiple sites (that use the same platform), and sometimes there are other attributes included in the input tag, or they are in a different order, eg:

I just dont understand regex enough to cope with these situations.

I am trying to build my own website and realized that it would be a big help to also create my own vb program to enable me to embed tags with simple clicks of buttons. I am having trouble getting my vb code to be compatible with html code (I keep getting vb syntax errors).
Here is what I've tried:

I have to submit a HTML form to a 3rd party website and one of the hidden fields is an XML string. The XML needs escaping before it is sent to the 3rd party.
However when I add the plain XML to the form field it semi-escapes it for me. So then when I use HTMLEncode myself part of the XML is double-escaped. How do I prevent the automatic escaping that appears to becoming from .NET.
Or even better how else can send the escaped XML via the hidden field.

"MenuStrip" is what the global form is called.
