Asp.net - Retrieve "TextBox1" In Gridview And Indicate A Value To It When Aspx Is Load?

Basically I want tO retrieve a "TextBox1" which I add in to one of the new column (TemplateField) of the gridview and the rest of the column are data load from the sqldatasource control i will want to indicate the "TextBox1" basic value that i calculated...so the result is when the default.aspx is loaded (which mean page load) the "TextBox1" should have show the calculated value.
sO now is how am I going to retrieve that " TextBox1" from the gridview in order for me to indicate a value cause i dont need to use this code below as my gridview data is use the retrieve in sqldatasource in the design default.aspx
I have two webpage in my website namely Default.aspx and Default2.aspx
I have asp.net textbox1 and button1 inside Form tag in Default.aspx page
and i have textbox1 inside form tag in Default2.aspx page
i want when i wanna transfer the textbox1 text of default.aspx page into default2.aspx textbox1 text hidden parameters ... which will not show query string in address bar and transfer value from one page to another..

how to display result in gridview according to textbox only if textbox2 date value is greater than textbox1 ?i have two textboxes and gridview ... if i type in Textbox1 : 2-Jan-2011 and in textbox2 : 1-Jan-2011 then in label1 the eroor message display else ..if textbox2 value is greater then textbox1 value then gridview will display records according to textbox1 and textbox2 from database

In an .aspx page with a VB.NET codebehind I am using an IFRAME which would be created inside the repeater control. Since I want to resize the IFRAME based on the content within the page I have been using the resize function obtained from here on the IFRAME onload as shown below.

I have a parent page and child page, both aspx. All is working, but now I would like to close child page, if user leaves child popup page and goes back to parent page and clicks on something else like page index of Gridview. I CANNOT close popup child page if user goes to another app, or some other location, I only want to close if something on parent page is changed.

I have a .aspx search screen that displays the results of the search in an asp:GridView component. There can be up to approx 1000 records returned by the search. I want to implememt paging on the grid so that only 15 records are displayed at any one time and the user can page through the results.
I am retrieving the records by passing search parameters to a WCF service which returns a List of particular entity objects. I create a Datatable and insert one DataRow per entity object from the List. I then bind the grid view to the Datatable.
Is there a better way to do this (or am I doing it wrong)? If not, which of the 3 options do you think is the best? I'm leaning towards option 2 as I don't think option 1 is performant and I don't want to be sending loads of unnecessary data back to the browser as per option 3.
I know how to loop through a GridView and extract each row using the for each loop as below, but I was looking for a easy way to loop through the datagrid and say extract the last 20 rows? Is it possible to go through in reverse order in vb.net?

I'm making a program that I need to put a button in that when you click it it sends the writing in form1's textbox1 one to the email you type in dialog1's textbox1.
Basically I have a textbox and button on Form1 that when you press it opens dialogbox1. In dialogbox1 there is a textbox and a send button. I need to make it so when you press send it sends an email to the email adress you type in the textbox and the body of the email is whats in textbox1 of form1.

I have two aspx pages. I need to send a textbox(record_id) value as a parameter from page1.aspx to page2.aspx to be utilized within a SqlCommand query in the VB code behind page. I would like to pass this parameter using the session. Page1 is a gridview which displays records from a sql datasource and on the edit button click the user is redirected to page2 which populates several textboxes and drop down lists and allows the user to edit the record.
If Page1.aspx opens Page2.aspx in a window, how can I have Page1.aspx refresh once Page2.aspx is closed?I have a page with data on it and I have a LinkButton set up so the user can edit that data. The LinkButton launches another windowed page with some text fields and a "Save" & "Cancel" button. Once one of those clicks I execute a save and close the window OR just disregard the information and close the window. I was hoping to have the initial window with the data on it refresh once the 2nd window is closed.
I using an ObjectDataSource (Should receive 5 rows) and a gridview.When I open the gridview I received all rows except the first one. So I only see 4 rows.Now I sorting my gridview with a click on a column. But I also get only 4 rows. After selecting a filter I receive all 5 rows. What could be the problem?
