I have a button to click on my form that displays 2 message boxes, one saying " enter upper limit" and the other say "enter lower limit". So I made a program for generating prime numbers in a list box. My initial code had them listed like this:

Now I have them listed in pairs like this :

Basically what I am making is a form with just one button and 2 text boxes. The purpose of it is that when I click the button 2 random PRIME numbers between 100-999 will show up in the boxes. With my code I have now, the numbers that show up in the boxes aren't always Prime.

Each set of ( 1 million ) prime numbers is in a ZIP file just click on say 1st Million
on the left to download a list as a ZIP file.

These are of course great to use in any security application or as part of any password.
However with the list so readily available on the internet is it such a good idea to use a prime number as part of a password? Food for thought perhaps? ....
I guess it depends on how long it is too. :-)
You could try to remember one that is close to an important date or other number that you know maybe?
If you are more paranoid use more than one prime number in a password with other characters ( UPPER and lower case letters etc ).

I am suppose to write a program using if statements and loops: Create an application that reads an integer number from the user and then displays in the List Box all prime numbers (for this project we are going to violate "positive" rule and make our prime numbers be negative as well) between user's number and zero 5 numbers in one row. Once I hit the calculate button nothing comes up. I've tried adding the first code inside the function with the remaining code but no result. Now I'm putting the first code in with the calculate prime button. I am guessing there's a sqrt method that needs to be applied but I am not sure if it should be part of the function or the main?
I have two user inputs (as textboxes) for two numbers I'm looking to check for all the prime numbers with the range of those two numbers and display them within a multiline textbox, however my code returns nothing but zeros, and I have seen easier ways to do it without functions but I am curious as to how to go about calculating primes within the function.[code]...

It seems I have everything working except how to display the prime numbers, the result from the following code displays nothing but zeros so I suspect that the range is not being saved somehow? I have asked this on other sites and people just give me completely different code or their own, can anyone help me with this specific code without changing the underlying code, I have a feeling I might be missing a variable or I am calling the function incorrectly.[code]

I need to write a program that requests a high number and a low number from the user, then the program searches the array and finds all elements within the two numbers. The program is used to search for past presidents, so if I type 43 for low number and 44 for high number, the program will display:

I have just about completed a .NET project to write a program to randomly select numbers for a Bingo caller. Over the last month or so Ive learned a lot about .NET but heres something that I consider to be odd and maybe one of you guys can offer an opinion.
One of the features of calling Bingo in a small local club is that callers often use little sayings to accompany certain numbers, I expect youve all heard of (say) All the sixes, clickety click for 66 or 5 and 9 the Brighton line for 59 etc. My little program gives an option to incorporate these with a prompt for the caller that can be edited outside of the program. One of these conventional sayings is used when a number is reversed 12 followed by 21 or 45 followed by 54 for example, when the caller might call (say) 1 and 2, one dozen, number 12 And the other way round 2 and 1, twenty one.
So, I programmed in a bit of code to detect this and to over-ride whatever might otherwise have been the quote with And the other way round and set about testing it. Ive been through literally dozens of full 90 calls watching for the occurrence of a reversed number, spent a few hours doing it, and not once has it occurred which is to say the least, unusual.
So, Im wondering about the Rand Function, could it be that it isnt possible for a reversed number to be selected? Just so you know, I randomly pre-select the order of all 90 numbers, I fill each of the 90 elements of an array with a random number first checking that the number selected hasnt already been stored, if it has, I just get the next random number (and check that too of course), but I cant see how that could prevent reversed numbers being selected, especially in light of the fact that frequently it's not the 'next' number that's used.

I have a procedure at the end of my console application that ask the user to either hit enter to end the program, or type s to perform another search. The issue I'm having is no matter what the user types in the program end. What I would like to happen is if the user types s, then the program starts over and lets the user perform another search. The program is procedural and I need to find a way to start back off at the top of the program which ask the user to type a name to search.

I have a question about working with arrays
I don't have any code written out I just want to know the best way to do this sort of senario to put into a flowchart, the program i'm working on isn't homework, its just practice and the book I have is less than helpful with what i'm working on.
I want to check to see if at least 3 numbers in the array are the same but no less so that it meets a certain requirement how would I check this?
I am working on an application that llops through a dataset. Within each loop, I need to test to see if the datarow number is contained within an array. For example:For Each Page in Pages Test to see if page number is found in array (i.e. page number = 3, array = 1, 3, 4, 7, 8)Next Page The test would match on record numbers 1, 3, 4, 7, 8.

The first value is -2912895.29. I put the program in break-mode and it keeps loading the first value as -2912895.25. I checked and it loads all of the values a few cents off.
