I am using gridcontrolview and put my "product" table in here. It contain 4 column: systemid, system, actualid, description. I want to display only system column (it's easy, just hide the others column) But, In "system" column, there are a lot of similar data, i want to display only distinct data from this column in the grid

there are still more of it. The data needed for those columns is coming from a different table.

I am trying to bind data from a text box on my form to a field in my database table. First of all I have created a DataSet, BindingSource and Table Adapter in the forms Design view, but I am having from there. Under the properties of each text box I have set the DataBindings (Text) to the field in the table under the forms instance and DataSet rather than the Projects Data Sources. I am very rusty at Visual Studio 2005 and that is all I have to work with.

Does anyone know a way for a datatable to be generated INSIDE the code of VB? It would be a "backup" datatable generation subroutine to be run in case the original datatable got damaged somehow (bad hard drive sectors, virus, whatever). It would need to be able to generate a "blank" datatable that could be filled in while running the program, instead of having to do it from an outside source (like Access).An example would be an "inventory" datatable (X product, Store Code, Manufacturer Code, Cost, Price).

My question is how to display the Contrycoed in a textbox after selecting the country in a combobox. For example if I select Canada in the combo I would like CND to be displayed in the textbox.
