When run the code Form1 load together with Form2.On Form2 I have Label1.I need that Label.Text flicker or blinking.
Is there an effecient way to give one label the ForeColor, BackColor and Text of another one of 3 possible labels? I need to do this frequently for a dozen labels in a windows form.

View 2 RepliesI am trying to create 5 Bitmaps 'on the fly' which I want to use in a ToolStrip DropDown.So far I have found a working way but I wonder if there isn't an easier way to do that?The reason why I have to create this images 'on the fly' is because users can select different colors for the Categories (which I have managed with Button(x).BackColor, so, in order to have the Menu Items shown the exact same colors I try to get a Bitmap based on the Button's back color and add it as MenuItem picture.Here is my code to create the images:

In the app, there is a label. By default is has "lblID" in it, when when you log in, the 45 goes there (comes from MySQL)
I need to create a new folder on startup, and that folder needs to be named according to that ID number.
The problem I'm running into , is when the application starts, it creates the folder just fine, but it never names it according to the ID. It always names it lblID.
The code to create the folder is in the frmLoad-

In a piece of code I am writing I am trying to change the text of a label in my form based on a timer. I have MANY other labels that are all updating in their own subs and when I try to add any new labels(in any sub) to update it wont. I am using Label.Text = counter where counter is a string that is changing. I have tried refreshing the form, Label.refresh() Label1.Update()....The only thing I think it could be is that the redraw is being held up by other calculations on the cpu. How can I make the label text change and update properly?

does anyone know how to connect points of a label? Let's say I have a label and start the label at point 0,0. Aterwards, the points jumps to 3,6 ... then to 6, 9 dynamically based on incrementing 3.
