C# - Get All Row Columns Dynamically In The Select Clause?

I have two DataTables, PersonInformationDataTable on which i only know about a "CityName" field, and another CityInformationDataTable, which has a few constant fields and i do a query like
ResultOfQuery = From person As DataRow in PersonInformationDataTable
From CityInfo As DataRow in CityInformationDataTable
Where (person("CityName) = CityInfo("CityName"))
Select ?? all person info ?? , Country = CityInfo("Country"), Tongue = CityInfo("SpokenTongue")
I would like again all the person fields with their values in the enumerable result.
the result would be like : name=. I don't know how many fields or the fields name of PersonInformationDataTable in advance. With a SQL Query, i could write a string with a loop on CityInformationDataTable columns and have a custom select string like : "Select Name,
I'm using LINQ to Entities to generate typed result sets in VB.Net. I've got a generic Report class as follows:
Public Class Report Public Property Name As String Public Property SQL As String Public Property Type As String End Class
Then in the calling scope I want to have code that does something like:
' create my data context Dim context As New MyAppEntities ' get a report object out of a dropdown list

So far I'm finding that .Net won't let me set the type in the (Of Type) clause on the fly at runtime.
Does anyone know how to do this?
I've tried changing the Type property of the Report class to an object of type Type, but that doesn't work either.
BTW, I know there are alternative ways to accomplish the same thing, but I'm working with external constraints that make this what I've got to work with right now.
I'm using a select statement to select data from an Access DB but I'm using. I can select the data perfectly but when I use the Where clause it doesn't select any data and the data I'm looking is in the DB.

I have a month and a year dropdownlist which give me the following string 01/2012 The date format in my db is "2012-01-01 00:00:00" but when I select an individual date and put it in a message box it converts to "01/01/2012"
I've altered my select statement below to reflect the converted date. However Im still not given the correct details. Any ideas? Is there a particular format that I need to use when dealing with a timestamp field? Can I even use the "Right" function in a select statement?

When the TruncParam changes, I would like the index (idx) in the Select clause to reset to 1. So, in the list above, the Index should be SOLUB0001, SOLUB0002, INSOL0001, INSOL0002...CLRES0001, SUMCA0001, SUME0001.

if only material no is enterd at screen then

if both date of creation and material no enterd then

In other words , field with no values in it should not be accounted in the where clause. Only one query I want to write.How we can achieve this in VB.net windows application?
I have a LINQ to sql statement that joins 2 tables. I would like to add a order by clause on one of the columns. However the order by clause does not seem to take effect at all. right syntax in VB.net to achieve order by in the following:

If myVariable is "a", control will go into the first case statement. Now let's say if myVariable = "a", but inside a's case block, I find that executeB is true, is it then possible to jump to the second case?

I am trying to read data from an excel sheet but there is an exception saying that no value given for one or more required parameters which I don't understand. Here is my code upto where the error is pointing to:

The exception points to that last line MyCommand.Fill(DtSet) which shows me that there is a problem with my select statement. Previously my code reads the data and displays it without the where clause in the select but when I added the where statement so that it can only read data from rows where the column I has a value equal to 176, it instead gives an exception that shows that some required parameter is missing a value?
built rdlc report with report wizard, now i want to add columns dynamically to existing rdlc report instead of adding columns of drag them from the data source. i am using vb.net
I am trying to figure out how to do this or if it is even possible. I believe it should be, I have about 20 different tables with different amounts of columns in each table. I.E. One table might only have 4 columns while another might have 30 columns. What I am trying to do is create 1 sub/funtion that will handle the select and import for all 20 different tables, unfortunately for me I can't seem to figure out how to write this.

For some reason, the label is not lining up with the others once I span it. I'm trying to span it to get all the text to show but once I do, it starts pushing it over. I don't see anywhere where I restrict the size so that shouldn't be the issue.
I tried doing all this in the design and it works just fine. Mimicking the designer code doesn't seem to fix it either unless I'm doing something seriously wrong...

So I made a Listview with 3 columns, I also added a ContentMenuStrip on to it that will delete selected items. But the thing is that I can only select the first column.

I am coding a public sub routine that clears all textbox fields in a form. I want to call/reuse this sub routine everytime i want to clear all textfields in any form in my program.
I can create a collections of all textbox objects in a form and loop on each of them to clear their textfields.
My _PrefillWizard method actually works for all the controls on my page except for those which are dynamically populated. The CheckBoxLists are such because they are automatically generated based on selectable values in a table in my DB. I already have this control in my markup like so... how do I force this to load and be ready before running my other code?[code]...

Those appear unhelpful to me as I have no form fields or datagrids and will be working with all the rows in a DataTable in a DataSet. Once started, this application will run to completion, writing as few as 10000 rows or as many as 250000 rows
My Task is to write out the contents of each specified DataColumn in the DataTable, one DataColumn at a time. The insert will also include the key columns and use the datetimestamp of the records as a criterion. Nulls in the specified columns are included.
My source is a DataTable, my target for the Insert is a "tall-skinny" table in an Access database. There is a smaller DataTable that is related to the source DataTable, if I was writing from within the AccDB I would use Joins.
