I am able to create simple image with text, but I want to apply MS Word Art font to my text.here is my code to create image with Text.

The following code allows words to be added to a listbox. Add the word to a text file and create a folder with the word as its name. The second part undoes the actions.If I try to delete the word immediately after adding it one of two things happen.
1.An error is reported stating the path cannot be found. Although the listbox index value is correct according to the code the error is pointing at that index +1.
2.The code continues to the point of requesting conformation to delete the folder, still pointing at the index value +1. I the action is confirmed the wrong folder is deleted.
However if I stop debugging, then run the code again all works correctly.Is it likely to persist when the application is compiled?

I need to display a set of images as rows and columns in a form. The layout should be user selectable similar to MS Word 2007+ - Table Insert functionality ie. rows & columns need to generated during runtime. Is there a built-in layout manager to support this functionality?

I have a program for which I have developed a user guide. I have placed this user guide within the project directory. I created a MenuStrip Item by which to open the user guide in Word on the user's machine. I was successfully able to do this with the following code:

The problem is, the path used to open the file will not exist on the users machine. This is a standalone system, so no file share can be created in which to place the document, therefore no common path can be coded.Is there a way to code dynamic paths? Perhaps something like:

I would like to know if it is possible to have dynamic data in word (2003) documents. Let me explain, I will start with what we do now and how I would like to fix or change it.We have approx 35 , we will call them divisions for the time being, and each division has a folder on the shared drive. We have approx 700 ,lets call them customers for the time, and each customer has a folder located in the associated division folder on the shared Drive. (\DriveDivision#1Customer#1...\DriveDivision#32Customer#348 etc etc etc .)There is a MSword2003 document that exists in every Customer Folder that contains data about that customer (including but not limited too.Contacts, Notes, Customer #s etc) We will call this the DeCust.doc file for the time. A lot of the information in these DeCust.doc files can exist in another customers DeCust.doc files such as a contact name and address. One of the problems we run into is that a contact (lets say Smiths Plumbing Service) may send an email to notify of an address change and the person receiving the email will change the contacts address in the DeCust.doc files of the customers that that employee (employee #1) works with but, there are other DeCust.doc files in other customer folders that the address never gets changed in. When a different employee (employee #2) opens a deCust.doc file of a different customer that he/she works with the contact (Smiths Plumbing Service) the address of this deCust.doc: file is wrong (not updated).
I would like to solve this problem. I have already developed a Demo VB/Database application to be used in lieu of the DeCust.doc files but, I have met Way too much resistance in getting people to switch from using individual docs in each customer folder to using a database program. With that being said, I started wondering if there was a way to Link/populate/fill the contact information in these DeCust.Doc files to a central Database or such that when someone changes an address for a contact it is simultaneously changed in all the other DeCust.doc files.

I have a MSAccess table with 4 columns(of text type)and another column of Oletype. I have programmed in VB.NET such that a query will returns a dataTable with all the columns from that table What im trying is to put those contents on a word document with all the columns. For which I have tried to loop through the contents of dataTable and tried to attach all those values of all columns to a string and then I have added that string to a WordDocument Bookmark as shown below.

OK, I'm trying to display tooltip text for a dynamic edit box. Well, at least I'm trying to.
On my form, I've got a tool tip control which I've conveniently named ToolTip. My edit box displays OK. But, what I want to do is when the user hovers their mouse over the text box, I want the tool tip to display some text.
I think there are two problems that I'm having. I'm not convinced that I'm properly addressing a dynamic text box name. Ideally, I would want to be able to refer to the text box (but using a dynamic variable that will contain the prefix of the name). To hardcode, I would want to be able to achieve (not in this example but in theory): ABCDEFGt_0300.Text = "hello"

I can search for the word Love in an .rtf file and return every occurance of the word into a RichTextBox. It returns the word and the scripture the word is in, but it also isreturning a bunch of weird text like: archan78988yykp etc etc. How do I onlyreturn the scripture with the searchedword, in this case the searched word is love. I have create a CMS to upload all image to a folder using ed all my images to a folder using,
file.SaveAs(Server.MapPath("../images/") + advertID.ToString + "_" + i.ToString + fileExt)
Now, all images are saved and i forgot it create thumbnails. :(
I need to read all images at once and create thumbnails,

I have a label that is supposed to display a word for 5 seconds and then move down the list in a text file and display the next word.I'm oddly able to make it work in random mode, but not going down the list in order.. random would be ok if used words didn't come up again.

I currently have a sub that has a string builder that I'm wish to use as the content of a CSV which I will email later from a webpage. My stringbuilder is creating the content for the CSV but I don't know how to create the CSV dynamically (I don't want the CSV on disk).

I was wondering if some of you can help me with a problem I can't seem to get around. I've got a database that contains a list of users who are connected to an application. The usernames and number of users connected will be random. What I need to do is to display two dynamic text boxes and also have a dynamic tooltip for each of the text boxes for each user displayed. If you look at the attached screenshot I drafted up, I'll only use the first user 'John' for this example.I will hardcode my example because getting the data from the database isn't the issue I'm having. My problem is figuring out how to make the text boxes and tooltips unique for each time someone visits the form. I would also like to be able to set the text within the boxes as well. I am attempting to create a long range calendar that dynamically loads (and unloads) event data as the user scrolls left or right through time. I'm really struggling to figure out how to lay the basic framework of the UI out and how to dynamically build the interface as the user scrolls by clicking and dragging the mouse in the view area. See the image below for a basic diagram of the intent. Each slice would have potentially multiple rectangles in it for events that occurred on that day (slice). I would like each slice to be a canvas to allow me to position those rectangles appropriately.
There are a few problems that I am not yet sure how to tackle but this is the first big one that I've been mulling over for a while and can't quite wrap my head around:
I know how to dynamically create controls but how would I go about adding things to one end of the scrollable content while removing things from the other depending on the way the user is scrolling?

I'm trying to create a dynamic jagged array. That is, one that i can increase the size of at runtime. Maybe its easier if I show you. I have a folder containing a varied number of files. What I want to do is set up a jagged array, with the file contents as the second array. So kind of like this:

However, it throws a System.NullReferenceExeption when I try that. In addition, I don't understand jagged arrays all that well....Here is my code (that doesn't work). The jagged array must be accessible by other methods.

I have to ask my first question at some point, so here she goes.I am trying to create a dynamic list of objects. The objects will have several types (String, Integer) associated with them. Currently I am forming a Collection as I instantiate new objects.Is there a prefered to map this collection to, say, a Datagridview? Will I have to Iterate through the collection and add the rows at each iteration?Would I be better served using an ArrayList or something else over a Collection?

Currently I create a thread the following way (the normal way)

I'm a junior VB programmer and looking for some advice on this subject. I'm trying to create a chunk of code that will create dynamic storage for variables for use later by dynamic custom controls.
For example:
An INI file might have an entry in it that looks something this:
....
[var1] <-- this becomes the Storage name
description=My Variable
type=System.Int32 <-- this could be any valid VB type
last_val=456 <-- Other code would save the last value
....
And I want to access the data using a standard "property set" like so after it's created:
var1_reference.value = 55
I've tried using a generic class which works ok as long as I declare the variables at design time from within the design environment. But when I try to create them from the INI file it gets messy.
Here's the simple generic class i've constructed to test this:

' Generic Symbol Class for data storage

Private VarType As Type

Also, as each object is created (and they could be different types) I store a reference in an array to make it easier to keep track of, but I'm having a hard time getting access to the objects and their properties, and certainly cant seem to assign an event handler to it once its in an arraylist because the design time code doesn't know what "Type" it is in the arraylist of objects.

I have a WPF window appliaction that I would like to build the functionality to have a dynamic style (font family, weight, size, etc) that is stored in a SQL database allowing a user to specify the type of style to use on control's such as ListView's and labels, etcI have started defining styles in the Application.XAML file and am not sure if this is the best approach to achieve a dynamic style.
