I have CheckedListBox, now i want to put image from the ImageList next to the every checkbox.I try to do that with this:
CheckedListBox1.Items.Add(ImageList1.Images(0))
But with this I get only checkbox with text System.Drawing.Bitmap!What I am doing wrong, I and how i can put image next to the checkbox?
I want to check a checkbox of the selected item in a checkedlistbox but option strict disallow it. How can I do it without turning it off?

Ive got a CheckedListBox with a list of 10 words (1 for each row). Ive then got a string of 10 numbers (0110100110). What I want to do is loop through the string, and if the number is a 1, set the corresponding checkbox to true (checked), and if it is a 0, set it to false (unchecked).For example, take the fourth number in the string, 0, this means it would set the CheckBox in the fourth row of the CheckedListBox to true.

The first CLB is populated with an arraylist of values on the button click event. Based on whatever is checked in the first CLB, corresponding values from an arraylist of structures should fill the second CLB.The following code partially works until the "Select All" checkbox is clicked at which point if other values have been selected before "Select All" is checked, the second CLB is filled with the correct number of corresponding values BUT only those of the most recently selected item of the first CLB instead of all of corresponding values of all of the items that were not already selected.

(Nothing is attached to a datasource.)The 4th column is a checkbox cell.How do I detect if that checkBox is checked or unchecked?This code strangely reports TRUE or FALSE at random times. It even turns ON the checkbox in rows other than the row I clicked in. (Huh?)

I've got a form with parent-child setup. The parent displays name and other demographic info.The child displays multiple addresses, one row at a time. There can only be one primary address for a name and this is designated by a checkbox at the top of the child form.If the user wants to change the primary address to another address,then they find the other address and click on the checkbox.The form checks the other addresses and if one is found that is designated as primary,the user is warned that one already exists and prompts them to change it.
So for example, a name has 2 addresses, the 2nd being the primary address.The user wants to change the 1st address to be primary.They click on the Primary Address checkbox for the 1st address.A warning displays that there is already an address listed as primary.The user then answers the prompt to change the 1st address to the primary address.The checkbox for the 2nd address will be unchecked and the checkbox will be checked for the 1st address.My problem is getting the checkbox unchecked for the 2nd address.If I close the form and reopen, then the checkbox is unchecked.How do I refresh the checkbox for the 2nd address?Here is the code I'm using to find if an address has already been marked as primary:[code]......
The idea is to scan a folder of images and then let the user navigate back and forth through the images using a couple of buttons.The problem is, I can only get it to return a single image, and not the whole lot. It has to deal with LOTS of images (100's potentially) There will be the set of default images, and then the user created replacement images. I started loading all the defaults into a resx file... thinking then I could just pull them out. now that I started setting the default, this sucks! lol the app will do this, on load it will set all the images (variables) to the resx images then when a theme is loaded, it will replace the default with the user image (if the user img exists) otherwise, the default stays. Then the "screen" is drawn to show the user. so, here is just the images to build the wallpaper, dock, and status bar...

I was thinking to make an app to save images [or download images] to local hard disk. But to keep it easy, I want this app to create a small picturebox on form to show the thumbnail of downloaded image. Lets say a 5 pictureboxes has to be added with the thumbnails to show the recent downloads. A user can save the location where he wants to save the files on hard disk. A listbox or a dropdown menu will help in categorizing the images, like image1 in friends section, image2 in family section, image3 in others, etc... When the program restarts all the latest 5 thumbnails has to be loaded in pictureboxes and the directory that was chosen. Finally, a button that shows the downloaded images into original image file size one by one or a slide show. Is it possible to make such program?

I am refreshing a form, and I want to assure the checkboxes are cleared when refreshing. I can clear the textboxes and masked textboxes, but cannot figure out to revert the checkbox back to the UnChecked state.

I have placed several PictureBox Images of different colored dots(which represent lights) on an image of a Christmas Tree. I can make the lights randomly flash using a randomGenerator and a Select case statement. However, the code is very long. There are 67 lights on this tree and the code is 71 pages long. There has to be an easier way to do this. So far I have tried the following with two images of lights just to see if it would work and it does not work:

How do I use those images in my Resources Folder in my solution explorer to set an image for a certain picturebox or form. I sorta need a code for it.

So I have the dataset with database in it, but I am struggling to get it from the dataset into the Checkedlistbox. Could someone do some quick code for this?Secondaly, I also want to set the checkbox's by using a string of integers which will look like "0110100110". If the value is a 1, I will want the corresponding checkbox to be checked, eg, "0110100110" So I would take that one, and check the 8th checkbox down in the checkedlistbox... I have a CheckedListBox that will be used to choose what columns they want to select from a database. Is it at all possible to display it in the format of [Table Name].[Column Name]?So far I have this:

I tried adding another clbFields.DisplayMember, but this obviously just overwrites the table name with the column name. I also tried doing:

but that didn't work either.I know it's not exactly life threatening if the user can only see the column name, but it'd be nice to be able to see the table name in case of any duplications?
