C# - Printing From WebBrowser Control Prints To Wrong Printer After Setting Default?

I have a WebBrowser control in a VB.NET WinForms app. I am able to set the default printer from code and print without prompting the user. However, there is also a print button that shows the PrintDialog. If this action is done first the page will print.Then if I try to programmatically print later (again setting the default printer to some other printer) the it will print to the last printer selected in the PrintDialog box even though I am resetting the default and see the default printer being changed in Windows.It works fine unless ShowPrintDialog has a printer chosen first. Once that occurs it seems to always use that printer no matter what I do.

i am using Visual Basic.net 2008 and I need a way to print the web brower to the default printer. Now I have worked with printing set pixel ranges but big problems happen when a printer dialog box appears over the space of the webbrowser and gets printed! Could someone give me the general approach, sudo code?

I have a label printer with the driver loaded with the settings in the driver set I can print the exact label that I want, I have the problem that I need to set the default settings in the driver when the software starts. there are 6 of these printers and the only problem we have found is that different operators like to change the settings.
What I need to do is to set the following commands in the driver so each time the system is started (daily) it loads the settings and works properly.
I need to set
Custom Commands Text, Start, Parsed Text
In the Advanced Setup, turn on use printer settings
Other settings would be usfull but as I cannot set these I do not think I will be able to set others.
I can currently set some of the commands eg,
DefaultPageSettings.PrinterSettings.Copies=2

I'm currently pulling HTML data from a database and displaying it in a WebBrowser control in my VB.Net application so that it's correctly rendered. The next step is to print it, but I need to be able to send it to a specific printer rather than the default printer.

I have it working, but� Through a lot of trying, I discovered that the WordBasic line would work. Further exploration revealed the �with dialogs(13)� will work. In a Word macro it would be Dialogs(wdFilePrintSetup) or Dialogs(97)
This is where it gets interesting. While Word.WdWordDialog.wdDialogFilePrintSetup equals to 97 it doesn�t activate the correct dialog. After considerable trying, I found that index 13 does yield the correct dialog box.

I have written a VB.NET program to open a word document and generate a .TIF file by printing it using the MODI printer. Usually the documents print fine. But, sometimes it appears as though all of the letters on each line are printed on top of each other which produces little square "blobs".[code]

Visual Studio 2005 I have an application that prints formatted text to a printer. I'm using the sample code from MSDN to impliment PrintDocument.PrintPage. My function for formatting the pages uses exactly the same code.
The problem is that the actual printout is off by one line. The footer from the first page prints at the top of the next page. Subsequent pages scroll down by one line for each page printed. If I reduce my formatted text lines by one, the opposite happens... the header from the second page prints at the bottom of the first page.
I've fussed with margin settings and fonts and I just can't seem to make it print pages correctly. I'm hoping that someone out there has seen this and can offer advice.

I want to find the remaining number of prints left on the printer. I use a Sony UP-CX1 dye sub printer. If I go to Printer Properties>Preferences it tells me the remaining prints and also the total prints on the current thermal head. How can I tap into this information with vb.net?

I have tried to create an amortization program The issue that I am having is that the program wants to print the same page over and over again. The first page of the printout runs through the "While loop" appropriately, but when the second page starts printing, it repeats the information that is on the first page. This is true of all subsequent pages I have included the printing portion of the code.

I am using VB 2008 & Access Databases for creating WinForm Applications. Also i am using Crystal Reports for Report solution. my question is How do i created reports such a way that they can be printed in faster Ascii Format on any DotMatrix printer. The default true type fonts make printing very slower.
I tried to use "Draft 10 cpi" font which come to available me after i installed a correct driver for my Epson printer. which also helped me overcome this problem. however it wont be the scenario with all my clients i.e. they might have different printers having different Make with different drivers installed. i have tried to open such project on there PC but the printing wont come in Draft instead the fonts get expanded too much & the print wont come right.

I am creating a customised version of the ListView control and there are several of the properties that a ListView has that I would like to be set to a different value to the ListView default when a user goes to use my user control.
From what I've found there seems to be a number of people suggesting just set them in the constructor, but to the best of my knowledge that would just mean that the user would not be able to change the properties in the PropertyGrid in the VS IDE.I assume this is probably something extremely simple that I have overlooked.

I am currently trying to be able to set the HTML in a WebBrowser control. The bit that I am having the trouble with is that when I go to put the HTML in the WebBrowser control on Form.Load or Form.Activated the WebBrowser1.Document.Body is Nothing. This means when I try to do; WebBrowser1.Document.Body.InnerHtml = value I'm getting an exception as I am trying to use it.I have also tried setting the HTML on the DocumentCompleted event for the WebBrowser control, but that event doesn't fire when I load the form (to be honest I didn't think it would but it was suggested somewhere on the Internet).

I am having one heck of an issue with a webbrowser control I am using. As part of my job, I am working on creating a tool to automate an older system that we still use. The part that is being automated is web-based, and the group running the automation does not have access to any automation tools like QTP. In order to give them something they can use, the idea was to build an application just for them. In this application, I have everything working perfectly, with the exception of the most important part: the entry of a policy number. The policy number goes into a textbox, and then the user presses a button. A part of the automation sequence involves the use of a timer.
If I manually navigate to the appropriate page and put the .SetAttribute statement in a button action on my form, it works perfectly fine. However, if I put the .SetAttribute statement anywhere that is being controlled by the timer ticking, it does not work.So, this works:

As a note, I do not have the Select statement in the Tick action; I have it in its own little sub. However, since it functions the same way no matter where it is, and to save space, I combined everything here. Also, at the time of the timer firing and setting things into motion to enter the policy number, the page is already fully loaded, so I don't think it is an issue with that, though I could be wrong.
It does not throw an error. The "1234567" above is passed in as a string, and doing a watch on it at run-time does show that the value is actually in there. It just seems like the .SetAttribute is not registering on the textbox. I have tried a few things ranging from "what-if" all the way to "that-is-so-dumb-it-just-might-work." Nothing seems to do the trick. I have tried sleeping everything for a few seconds just to see if there was an issue there. I have tried issuing the .SetAttribute command a few times in a row thinking it just wasn't taking the first time. Since setting .Focus() didn't seem to work for it, I even went so far as using SendKeys to move focus to the textbox on one attempt and API calls for mouse clicks (to click inside of the textbox) on another attempt. As a last crazy attempt, I had the Select statement doing a .PerformClick on btnTest (which works if I navigate to the page manually).

I'm using Visual Basic 2006 and i am printing with a third party application call NovaPDF. It works very well.NovaPDF works like any printer and i'm having no problem using it. The thing is that i don't want to queue printing document because i need to rename and change their location. Also NovaPDF append to file. Here I have creating a custom paper(height = 1000mm and width = 800mm) on the printer via code and then trying to print the text on a specific location (for example. top = 1cm and left = 1cm). It does not print the text After trying many time i found that printable area, created by the code, is not changed but it is changing height and width as custom paper i have given in the code. I have a RTB. I want to print the contents to a printer. KB 811401 does most of what I want. I want the on screen RTB to change size based on the settings of the selected printer. That way the user really gets WYSIWYG between the screen adn the printer. This application prints to labels so it is very important that what the user sees on the screen comes out exactly the same on the printer. Last night I think I found an example that linked the RTB to the printer, but it was an old version of VB that does not work with 2008 .NET and I can't find it today anyway.
