At the moment I only use the input value (so for exampel 55.0) for which I use the DataGridView1.CurrentCell.Value which I put in all selected cells, but I would like to receive the exact user input (so eg '+1.2')

Oct 30, 2011I want to find the text in textbox in my database. I wrote the code below. It finds numbers well, but when I want to find strings it gives a runtime error: invalid column name for example aaa, but aaa exists in column1 in my table.What do you think about the problem?

VS 2008 Does FIND Always Find Within The FILTER Of A Binding Source
Jun 8, 2009I've got a form - CMCConsole It pops up a dialog form for adding a new case.If the matter number in a textbox on that dialog form matches an existing cases matter number I would like to find it in the binding source of the CMCConsole form

May 10, 2010I am writing a calculator app in VB Express 2008. I'm trying to get the app to accept numeric and operator input while ignoring all the alpha input. In other words taking input from the numeric keypad and the top of the keyboard and ignoring all the letters.

Oct 19, 2010In my programming class, we have been set a task in which a user inputs 8 numbers, and those 8 numbers will be split into groups of 4 (therefore having 4 lots of two digit numbers). These 2 digit numbers will then translate to a specific time, day, place and city.
For example, this table below is what we have been given for city. (there are separate tables for time, day, place with different 2 digit numbers)

Bearing in mind I am a newbie, and my knowledge of VB is minimal. How would I go about doing this. It's suggested we use MOD and integer division, but I don't see how it can work.
