Check Checkbox And Change Color On One Label And Enter Date On Another

[code] I want to check checkbox and change color on one label and enter date on another.Then I want to uncheck the checkbox, restore the color on one label and clear the other..This works perfectly but only after the initial check. On the first check the correspsonding labels are handled properly but all the other labels are changed also, ie. the color changes on one set and the other set cleared.I can see the problem is in the Else If statements but can't understand why if the coding iswrong it works ok after the first check.
I have a question of VB event handler and color picker. Now I have a label, and I want when user click it, it pops up a color picker dialog and let user to change the background color of the label. Not sure how to implement this, can anyone give me a direction?
I have several checkboxes in a groupbox on a vb 2008 express userform. I would like to check the checked status of each when clicking a command button and then write the checkboxes caption to be used in an email or print out. does anyone know how to change the text color of a disabled checkbox control?I have drawn a black background on my form interface and a checkbox has been positioned on top of this background. When the checkbox has its enabled property set to false, the text cannot be seen at all ( so I assume the disabled text color is black ).Does anyone know how to change this color? I've tried changing the chkbox.forecolor property from within the program code but it didn't change the disabled text color :/

I want to make a check box change color when it is checked. In looking for answers it appears there used to be a fill color option in the properties, now in there is just back color and fore color. I am using VB 2008 Express.
I am fairly new to vb.net and the form includes 3 picture boxes in red which you can click and change their color to green, also each picture box have three text box associated with it and they are by default color dark gray. I have a list of 12 buttons on a form. I want to label each of them representing a month from left to right starting at the most recent month. So if today is the 12/3/12 my buttons will be in THIS order MAR12,FEB12,JAN12,DEC11,NOV11 ETC UP TO BUTTON 12. I have already written code for it and it works but it is long winded.

I have been playing around with the "MouseDown" event and have gotten stuck. What I need is for when you click on a label (for instance), the back color will change, BUT I also want it to change to another color (back to its original) when nothing is clicking it. I can change the color with one mouse click, but when I release the mouse button, it stays the color it changed and doesn't revert back.

im trying to get the user of my program to enter their date of birth ad for the program to return how old they are in years, months and days (you are 10 years, 3 months and 23 days old) type thing and if its their birthday, to return an appropriate message.atm ive got a textbox for the days, a combo box for the month and another textbox for the year. i guess the real question is how do i use these to do the above.
