I want to make a check box change color when it is checked. In looking for answers it appears there used to be a fill color option in the properties, now in there is just back color and fore color. I am using VB 2008 Express.
I want to have toolbarbutton appear in different color when checked.
My buttons all have Images and when Checked is True, a square box with a thin blue line appears around button. This is barely noticeable . What do I need to do when I set Checked=True?
See Note tool below:
I'd like the background color to be Gold filling the blue bordered rectangle around Notes tool.
I am fairly new to vb.net and the form includes 3 picture boxes in red which you can click and change their color to green, also each picture box have three text box associated with it and they are by default color dark gray. I want the system to check whether the picture boxes are clicked and if yes set the associated text box colours to white.
Here is the code I wrote: Public Class Screen Inherits Windows.Forms.Form Dim T(1, 2) As TextBox Dim S(2) As PictureBox Dim x, i, j As Integer [Code] .....
[code] I want to check checkbox and change color on one label and enter date on another. Then I want to uncheck the checkbox, restore the color on one label and clear the other..This works perfectly but only after the initial check. On the first check the correspsonding labels are handled properly but all the other labels are changed also, ie. the color changes on one set and the other set cleared.I can see the problem is in the Else If statements but can't understand why if the coding iswrong it works ok after the first check.
I have been playing around with the "MouseDown" event and have gotten stuck. What I need is for when you click on a label (for instance), the back color will change, BUT I also want it to change to another color (back to its original) when nothing is clicking it. I can change the color with one mouse click, but when I release the mouse button, it stays the color it changed and doesn't revert back.
I have made a program that has alot of labels which i'm using as click events. Is there any way to program the labels to change to a different color when the mouse arrow hovers on top of it it?
Why is this code having the opposite effect? If It's checked in the checkedlistbox it's not check in my view, if it's not check in my checkedlistbox it is checked in the grid.
EDIT: More specifically. The CheckState.Checked is always the opposite. .Checked means it's not checked.
Private Sub CheckedListBox1_ItemCheck(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Windows.Forms.ItemCheckEventArgs) Handles CheckedListBox1.ItemCheck Try
How to programmatically change foreground color and make bold text in individual cell location on DataGridView control (Visual Basic)?
I use "dgMatrix.Rows(r).Cells(c).Value = x" to assign individual numeric values to individual cells in a DataGridView control. My question; is there a similar way to change foreground color and make bold the text in this cell, by specifying the individual row/column cell location?
For example; for cell (row 3, col 5) in the DataGridView make text in cell say red and bold or blue and bold so as to highlight and distinguish individual cell contents. As needed, I will also need to reset these properties (foreground back to automatic/black and font from bold back to regular); the reset could be done globally to the whole DataGridView as opposed to indiviaually by cell.
I have a question of VB event handler and color picker. Now I have a label, and I want when user click it, it pops up a color picker dialog and let user to change the background color of the label. Not sure how to implement this, can anyone give me a direction?
Alright inside of a combo box I have a list of colors and I want to change the background color of the combo box to the selected color...basically this... but im not sure what the problem is here anyone have some advice or is this not possible?
I am using .NET 1.1, so I don't have the access to listitem object. I would like to change the text color or the background color of certain items in a listbox. can it do it in .NET 1.1?
Is there a way to check specific pixels in a picturebox to check the color? Basically what I have is a black square with some white dots, and I want to find the position's in the picture of the white dots.
I would like to use a full range of possibilities for a color, such as 255,255,255 instead of predefined colors, like red. How can I do this in code. Me.backcolor=?
Im developing a web browser and i got an idea of changing the background color of the form 1 so i made a form 2. created 1 combobox and 1 button. The idea was to change color of background and then when i start the program after closing it it will remember what color and start up same color as before? Here is what i did but it doesnt work:
I have a datagridview with a checkbox column.i want to check whether checkbox is checked or not.If the checkbox is selected it should output as "True" in messagebox and if checkbox is not selected it should giving me a message "False".
Bind a CheckBoxList Control to a database where it will select 13 things out..I want the easiest way to check which checkboxes are checked and which aren't and add to my database of features the boolean options 1/0 if they are checked or not.
I have group of radio buttons, each group ranges from 5 - 27 radiobuttons. And if any radio button in a group is checked I store 1 in db else I store 0. Now I'm checking each radiobutton using if loop to see if they are checked and set database value. I'm also trying to use the code below. Is there a good/better approach to check if they are checked or not?
Current code:
'rname is radiobutton prefix for a given group 'cnt is number of radiobuttons in the group
Private Function RadioIsChecked(ByVal rname As String, ByVal cnt As Integer) As Integer[code]....
Note: I cannot use radio button list. I know this can be achieved easily using this but i want to get solution for radiobutton
I'm having a hard time figuring out why this is happening. When I check an item in the listbox it calls the sub ItemCheck for the listbox accordingly:
Code: Private Sub chklbToDo_ItemCheck(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Windows.Forms.ItemCheckEventArgs) Handles chklbToDo.ItemCheck Dim iLoop As Integer Dim iCheck As Boolean
[code]....
I've had to work with the delay of the check by reversing the boolean value caused by the check. But when I worked it into the program to delete the item that is checked, it deletes the selected/(un)checked item and THEN checks the item with the index. So in other words, if a user selects and checks an item in the listbox, and chooses to delete the item, it deletes the item and then checks the item that replaces it in the index (the following item).I don't understand why the checked value doesn't appear until after the sub ends.
I have about four columns inside my listview.I also have checkboxs that are located to the left of the listview. A checkbox is added to first column but how would I check if the checkbox is checked?
I have a groupbox with two radio buttons on it, is there a way to check if any of the radio button is checked without having to go to individual radio control but from the Groupbox control.
