View 14 RepliesI have a VB.NET form that takes up the whole screen. On Windows XP, the taskbar is not displayed when moving the mouse to the bottom of the screen. I have auto-hide set, and the taskbar is not locked. I tried the same thing on a Vista computer and it works fine. What am I missing on Windows XP? In my solution I have 3 project and I want to create the single config file for all project, I mean instance of creating config file for all the 3 project I am creating one config file in the solution level that serve the purpose of all the project.

I'm attempting to make a program that will simply draw a guide (consisting of two perpendicular lines) on another program's window. I tried using a form with a transparency key and TopMost set to true, but then whenever the user inadvertently clicked the guide, it would un-focus the application. The only lead I could find was a suggestion to "Draw directly on the other application's window". I can't find anything that tells me how to do this, or if its even possible...
So I need to know one of three things:
1) Is it possible?
2) How do you do it? or
3) is there some way to make a form completely un-focusable?
The effect I'm trying to get is so that it looks like someone physically drew the line on the monitor itself.

I'm trying to make a program that runs programs using image analysis. It will Recognize images on screen so that they can be clicked. Well when i was working on it i had an ideal. I could get the edges of the screen/window i'm using. Make a calculation to grid off areas of parts of the screen. Making the program not have to process the entire screen every time. So that it only has to call to process a grided off zone.
How every i dont know how to get the edges of the screen/window. Could some one link info on how to do it or give some code snippits. Thx for an info that you give.
i have develop an application in vb.net which is running well with windows xp but when i install it to win 7 basic home it doesn'nt execute at all. It stops when it reach the form that has flash player. I have instal flash player version 10 but it happens the same. I have problem to run my application on win 7 now..
