My problem is that the mouse leave event fires if I mouse over any of the child controls (like the name box for example).What I need is for the mouse leave event to fire when my mouse leaves the entire control, rather than firing when I mouse over any of the child controls. Then I'll compare between the form location and the mouse ,if the mouse out of the form, the visibility is false when the mouse move or key press up /down and become in the form border, the form visibility must be true. My question to you is, can I delay the mouse down event so that it does not intefere with the code of the Mouse.Click event? I have tried adding a timer and waiting x amount then setting a bool value to true, but the code executes to fast and it skips the other code.

Dec 11, 2010I have seen a few programs one in particular, that runs like a macro but it doesn't take over/control your mouse. Instead it uses a secondary, what you could call virtual mouse. It constrains the mouse to the form and then uses this 'secondary' mouse to run the macro without controlling your other mouse. This way you can browser the internet, or whatever else without being disturbed by the running macro.
Does anyone know what this is called? May someone please give me a tutorial on how to use it,
Mouse Position On A Control?
Dec 6, 2009I have a label (mylabel1) control that is say size 200 by 200. I then add another label (mylabel2) to it as:

When the mouse enters mylabel1, I want to say change the backcolor as:

this works fine except that when the mouse passes over mylabel2 which was added to the controls collection, it fires the mouseleave event for mylabel1. Is there a way to do this without having the mouseleave event of mylabel1 having to be checked against the mouseenter event of mylabel2??
I am ultimately going to have a parent container that has multiple children but I don't want the children to effect my changing colors and effects when the mouse has entered the parent.

Capturing Mouse Down (form Before Control) Event?
Sep 23, 2010I'm working a program where I need to capture the mouse down even at the form level. I need this to happen regardless of where the mouse is clicked. The standard mouse event (see below) works fine if the mouse isn't over a control. However, when the mouse is over a control, the control gets the event before the form. I can generate an event to capture the mouse event for every control and the pass the event on, but that is ugly and requires way to much maintenance. Isn't there a way to tell vb that all mouse events go to the form?

what im trying to do is when you put the mouse over the panel it displays a picture and when the mouse leaves the picture goes away..the problem is that it doesnt detect the mouse when its over the panel. if i make the form background non-transparent it detects it just fine but i need it to work when both the form and panel are transparent

I thought code like:

Emulate Mouse Click Inside A Control?
Oct 27, 2011I have a problem with a purchased UI control, and to do a quick and dirty fix (no time to build/order a new control), I need to emulate a click at the right side, say 10 pixels into the control, from the right side of the control. Is that possible in vb.net? We can't do this functionality programmatically, due to a bad API design. And now time is running low.
Which method do I use to get the coordinate to perform the click at, and what code do I use to do the actual click? The code should move mousepointer to the location, do a right click and then return to where it was, hopefully without the user ever noticing anyting.
Make More Than One Control Respond To Mouse Events?
Jun 27, 2012I have some code in a label's mousemove event that allows it to be dragged around my form while the left button is held down. While this is happening none of the other controls on the form respond to their own mousemove events as the mouse pointer passes over them. Is it possible to make more than one control respond to mousemove events at the same time?
