I have a Nag Screen that I am creating, and I am wanting to create a delay before the OK button is enabled allowing the user to proceed.
Is it better to use a Timer event or would a 'For I = 1 to 20000"
loop be the better option.
All this timer would do is Enable the OK button, thats all.

Alright I'm very sorry. This is a very Noobish question and I thought I could figure it out my self but I am haveing alot of trouble.Okay so I have 5 Checkboxes. When All them are checked I want Button1 to be enabled.And if any Checkboxes get unchecked after they where checked I want button1 to be disabled.

I want to do a For Each loop where i can check whether each button is enabled or disabled. If the button is enabled then i have to obtain the values in the tags for each button. I have 26 buttons each containing different values (cash prizes).*IMPORTANT: this code needs to go under the button so every sixth time its pressed it checks the buttons.

I try to send a email by a website but the send button become enabled only when I press a keyword on my keyboard, the app insert the text in the form but the button remains disabled.
I think I need activate the textbox in the website also send a key for activate the button but I don't know how do this.
For example when the app insert the text into the subject box and into the message box the button remains disable. But if I enter a letter by my keyboard button becomes enabled.

I'm trying to enable tabs funtionality in the WebBrowser control. I have a TabControl hosting WebBrowser controls in each tab. And a multiline enables Textbox to enter the sites. It looks something like this[code]...
It adds the WebBrowser control to the TabControl at the SelectedTab position. Since the default selected tab is the first, it only adds it to the first tab therefore executing only that browser.
I want to know how I can select the next tab from the loop as the SelectedTab so that when the loop runs again and again, it would keep adding WeBrowser controls to each tab.

It doesn't seem like much, but it makes the program run better. I'll probably randomize the length of the delay later between those two marks. I need the thread to delay between keystrokes, and i need to be able to have the user input the amount of delay from the GUI via textbox. I have it running perfect with Thread.Sleep(), but it just isn't consistent enough. How can I code it to be accurate to roughly 5ms up or down? thanks, and here is the code. View 2 RepliesI know that time delays have been covered before around almost everywhere. however a method that forgoes forcing the GUI to become temporarily non-responsive, is all but a myth, or at least to my findings. i have the need for a GUI program to delay before the next command, however using the current method, detailed following, it causes the desired effect however it dose make it much less polished as when you click anything else on the GUI it goes un-responsive for the directed time. [Code] make a sub called say Tdelay( milseconds as integer) and have it run a loop as many times as the milseconds variable indicates and each time making the thread delay for 1 milsecond and then update the GUI/form in some way, then re-loop.

So the scenario in my head is like this.
So we have for arguments sake FrmConfig which is the master configuration form, then we have FrmMain which is the root menu our application general user interfaces with. So here based on what options are checked as enabled in FrmConfig effects what controls (like buttons/menu options) are enabled in FrmMain.

On the Form I have created an Export, File and Edit button.With the edit button I would like the user to be able to select whether they would like to save the 1st,2nd,3rd sheet and so forth.
I would like to create a window/Form within the edit button that would say something like "select excel sheet" along with a save button where the required sheet number could be saved or selected as a standard save procedure everytime.I know that I need to do this with the settings.settings control.
