Delete All Information In A Table In Database?

I'm working with the project that require save all user personal information in one table when they login the my system. The problem is too many users login my system per day, it's very hard to manage. So, I want to add one more function which can specify one user information. My solution is filter that user and copy to other table, the problem is I don't know how to do that. how can I delete all information in a table in database?

If I have this to read from an access database, how could I translate it to read from an oracle database with the same table/field information? I know nothing about oracle but I assume I cannot use the oledbdataadapter that I am used to when connecting with an oracle DB.

I have a Form1 that is the main application form, that display certain data from a database. Then I have Form2 that add/delete data from a specific table in the database.My problem is, When I add data to the database, and save it, it work fine, But, it does not reflect on the main form, after I close Form2. Only when I exit the application, and open it again, it shows. Is there a setting or something I need to do to update/refresh the info added so I do not need to restart the application?

I have been requested to implement a login form into a friend's Visual Basic .NET application. He specifically requested that I should do this using LINQ to compare the input to a table in an Access database. I don't really know why he imposed these restrictions, but who am I to judge? However, the problem is I am not overly familiar with VB .NET, or LINQ.

I'm trying to delete a number of records in a table from the last and forward. My idea is to use sql like this: delete top " & variable & " * from table where ID = something It gives me a general sytax error. Is it at all possible? Fuga. Edit: I also have the order by statement there. I just forgot to put it in the question.

The program is currently trying to pull information from three different database tables and compiling the information onto one screen, to do this i am using three different connections and a function to handle the data at each stage. The issue is as my code hits PageLoadStage of "2" and runs the QueryDatabase() Function i am encountering an error of: "OleDB exception unhandled: No value given for one or more of the required parameters." This occurs on line 15 of the first code snippet. Can anyone explain this and/or identify any code issues if that is the cause.

[Code] my issue is that now i need two cases, first i need a query that will return the date created and modified of the table and i also need to know if its possible to query a list of table names in the database ordered by date created but that have a certain thing in their names. for example the database contains the following tables: [Code] and what i need the query to return is the tables that contain "Data", settings and employees are for the other functions of the program. so the query should return the 4 data tables in order of date created. but i have no idea how to go about doing that in the query, does anyone know how this is done?

I have declared a variable for all the controls of my form (Dim result As String) and when i close the form (me.close()) and open it again, the value of the result var don't go to nothing (""). Why is that happening? Close is actually the unload of the form. Shouldn't it delete all the information of the variables?

My apologies I have posted this in the wrong catagory It should be in VB.net, my mistake)Hi guys I posted this question at the end of another topic I started but I think it will be over looked as the origional topic was solved of the dreamincode community You must all be getting sick of my quexstions by now haha I suppose you don't learn if you dont ask.
Anyway I have used the delete sql method to delete data from a database, I want to refresh the data in the form after the record has been deleted. Do I have to close the form and then open an new instance of it? or is there another way I can refresh the data?

I am using oracle and trying to create a datagridview but when i try to create the dataset i get the error "could not retrieve schema information for table or view" stating my database and table name. I am using the Oracle client not the OLEDB as i have always used that and had no problems. I am using Oracle 11g.

When I use a command such as:

I am going out to the database, gathering the requested information and filling the dataset. Therefore, everytime I add a query to a table adapter, it is also going to the database to get the information. So, my question is, how do I fill a table in a data set with all the records in the database table and then, filter the information I've already collected in the dataset without going back out to the database again?

I got a table related to another table by orderref. I need to know what should be my SQL adapter command if I need to take some information from one table and some from another where orderref = "" or should I be making two separate SQLs?
I used to have this when I had only one table:

I have a list box which is having column of an access table(say 'name'). If I selected a name n press delete the row of the corresponding name should be deleted from the table. Also The column which we are displaying from the table to the list box should be updated automatically. Note its a windows application using access table.

I can add a table to an MDB easily: i.e.
