Design Program In ConsoleApplication About Phone Numbers?

I'm supposed to design this program in ConsoleApplication about Phone Numbers:
You are writing a program and you need to store telephone numbers. You'd like to be user-friendly, and let the users enter their telephone number in whatever format they like with parentheses and dashes, so long as they enter 10 digits. Assume that they won't enter any other characters. The user will only enter ( ) - spaces and numbers.So, these would all be valid inputs
I have to design the interface of a mobile phone for my assignment on VB.net.I don't know how should i begin and what should i include. I have to do the interface of a mobile phone with keypad.
I would have to include the screen of the mobile phone where i would be able to navigate the menus, whenever i click on the keypad.
how to start. I would be using windows form, but i have no clue on how to make a form display onto another.I will have to use it to navigate from one menu to another, for example from messages to contact.

Also i have the callback event handler for get the line status and write the log. But my tapi call is not going the status except DAILING,PROCEDING,CONNECTED,DISCONNECTED and IDLE. Its not showing the line busy, phone swithed off status. Please guide me regarding this.

Also i have the callback event handler for get the line status and write the log. But my tapi call is not going the status except DAILING,PROCEDING,CONNECTED,DISCONNECTED and IDLE.

I'm developing an application that generates mobile GSM numbers, but i need to find a way to make sure each generated number (e.g: +23408068576645egin_of_the_skype_highlighting +23408068576645 end_of_the_skype_highlighting) is in use and importantly the CellID or location parameters of the number: the software is not a mobile app, but rather a Desktop app.
I wrote a basic mobile directory search for work. When I apply the jQuery Mobile code to the results page it no longer allows my android device to "tap" on the phone number (formatted as xxx-xxx-xxxx) and have it pre-fill the dialer on the phone. Without the jQM it works fine. Am I missing something, do I have to tag the phone number a certain way in order to get the phone to recognize it again? The jQM applies the "data-role=listview" to my unordered list and nested unordered list.
I am trying to wirte a function for a Phone number class called "import phone number". It should take any string with 10 digits in it somewhere (and allow for an extension), and import them into it's own properties: AreaCode, Prefix, Suffix, and Extension (aaa-ppp-ssss-xxxx...).
I check the input with a regex to make sure it's valid, now i want to tokenize those pieces into their respective properties. What I have looks like this (incomplete):

This appears to be working for domestic phone numbers but it doesn't look to work for international numbers. Is there something I'm missing? Can anyone else try this with numbers you know and just let me know if it's missing anything?
In my application I have fields where a phone number can be copied and pasted in a field. I want to strip that number of ),(,- and spaces. I want to use a function so I can just give the number a value like:

Then in my form just simply type Phone= StripPhoneNumber(txtPhone.text) I just needed to add the Return. It works. What do I need to do to that code to make it return a value?
I am trying to print HTML from a console application using a WebBrowser control.
I created a new ConsoleApplication and added a reference to System.Windows.Forms. I can successfully print using the code below, which I built after much searching of the Googles [URL]
However, if I remove the MsgBox call, it does not print. If I replace the MsgBox call with a call System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(10000) or something that loops for a while and calls Application.DoEvents(), it still will not print. I have also tried delaying the call to WebBrowser.Dispose() with more sleeping, but that does not do the trick either. The only way I have been able to make it print is by letting it show the MsgBox, which is not ideal for an automated printing job to the default printer.

I've got some server apps that I've been trying to get some metrics from so I can debug them. I found that when scrolling back up the window I'd suddenly get timeouts from the clients. Sure enough, moving the scrollbar stopped the application.
I'm probably missing something fundemental here, but I can't work out why moving the scrollbar on a Console window would block the thread. It's very simple to reproduce:

Run that up, and any interaction with the window blocks the thread. In the example below, I just moved the scrollbar a bit and held it in position for a few seconds before releasing [URL]I've tried it with a Timer type loop rather than a Thread.Sleep but the same issue appears. What am I doing wrong (other than not using a service instead!)?
I'm using SQL as a database in VB 2010, I already add a table to my form as a datagrid view but I don't know how to add buttons for filtering, deleting and adding things in my table, for example I want to have one button on my form call it search button to search in table names or Phone Numbers. how can I do that and where shall I write the code?

I have just about completed a .NET project to write a program to randomly select numbers for a Bingo caller. Over the last month or so Ive learned a lot about .NET but heres something that I consider to be odd and maybe one of you guys can offer an opinion.
One of the features of calling Bingo in a small local club is that callers often use little sayings to accompany certain numbers, I expect youve all heard of (say) All the sixes, clickety click for 66 or 5 and 9 the Brighton line for 59 etc. My little program gives an option to incorporate these with a prompt for the caller that can be edited outside of the program. One of these conventional sayings is used when a number is reversed 12 followed by 21 or 45 followed by 54 for example, when the caller might call (say) 1 and 2, one dozen, number 12 And the other way round 2 and 1, twenty one.
So, I programmed in a bit of code to detect this and to over-ride whatever might otherwise have been the quote with And the other way round and set about testing it. Ive been through literally dozens of full 90 calls watching for the occurrence of a reversed number, spent a few hours doing it, and not once has it occurred which is to say the least, unusual.
So, Im wondering about the Rand Function, could it be that it isnt possible for a reversed number to be selected? Just so you know, I randomly pre-select the order of all 90 numbers, I fill each of the 90 elements of an array with a random number first checking that the number selected hasnt already been stored, if it has, I just get the next random number (and check that too of course), but I cant see how that could prevent reversed numbers being selected, especially in light of the fact that frequently it's not the 'next' number that's used.

I was making a little timer. When the phone is not in standby, my app is working fine. But when i put the phone in standby it stops. When phone is coming out of standby, the timer is going again on the time i put the phone in standby.
I know that other tools keep working, so i there a simple way to do that?

One approach I am thinking about pursuing involves "messaging" my application (windows form in VS 2008 pro) from a mobile device, whether it be a laptop, phone, pda, etc.

I've noticed that when I save a newly scripted program and attempt to open it after I close Visual Studio 2008, it no longer shows the layout/design of the program...how would I go about configuring it so it looks the same as before I closed visual studio?
I intend to choose developing a Web Content Management System using asp.net with VB.net 2008 but I'm not sure about how long it takes to program such system. Is 4 months enough for developing such system? This 4 months is the duration of this semester and Includes about two months for analysis and design and the rest is left for implementation.
