I want to develop Modbus RTU Master program ..
I am expert in Modbus communication and I have designed the Modbus pre-programmed remote controls ,, Now I want to interface some Modbus RTU slave devices to my own developed application ...
I am much familiar with the Modbus RTU syntax and I've tried following to initiate the the master query but I am getting initial 3 bytes ok ,, rest of the bytes are changing the values on COM port so slave is not responding to my command ..

i am trying to develop a program that will get all the processes in the task manager and from there, i'll get a specific application so that i will restart it. the problem is this:
I can call that specific application yet before restarting it i shall manipulate it's pause button before i can actually kill it,.HOw do i "click" the pause button on the called application? Can you help me with the code that i need to use?

I'm having problems with a stock program that I'm developing. It's a program that adds a quantity of products to a field called stock quantity in a table named Stocks. In the part of adding a quantity inserted by the user it's ok, it works, but it adds to all fields in the table.I need that the user may choose also the product Id of the product to add, in order to prevent the situation above.

I'm starting to work through Murach's ASP.Net 4 Web programming with vb2010.
Do I leave the 2010 studio default collection of settings from Visual Basic Development to Web Development or Web Development(Code Only) in order to follow the examples and learn to develop web pages? And are there other things I should do to set up the enviornment for persuing this.

I'm trying to develop a simple program which will show a form with a listbox and a button. The buttom will allow a listbox entry to be selected and close the form. The entry will them be sent to the previous open application.
For example, I could select my postcode from the listbox and have it sent to the currently selected field in my internet browser. Or the current date to my text editor.[code]...

I'm trying to develop a program structure in very broad terms. At this point, the Forms used do nothing but call other Forms and allow for their closure. After startup and initialization activities, I want the user to set up options and run the program. The program can be run again (click one button) and again with the same options, or (click another), the options can be changed for the next and subsequent runs. Clicking a third button will cause shutdown activities to be performed.
Sounds pretty simple. However, I get the options form the first time, but subsequent ShowDialog calls cause the form to pop up (I detected a Load and an Activated call) for an instant, then disappear, and the program rolls on without permitting option selection, even though the key variable NewSetup is definitely True.

Hows it going. Im in some need some help. Im trying to make a Program called process master, and one of it's features is When clicking an item in Listbox1, It will show on the side in Label 11 the path of that process.

I know that It would be connecting through a TCP Connection, and I know the address of the device. I need to read the input on it (whether of not it's on), and to toggle the relay on it as well.

I am trying to develop a program that will allow a user to automatically log into a website with a username and password and click login, which works fine, However after clicking login i am trying to have the pragram click another button to submit a file. This is where the program bombs. This secondclick will work in a separate event but not in the same event as the login.

i m working on an application which communicates with PLC machine using Modbus protocol. Now i m able to generate and communicate a modbus data frame with PLC the only problem that i m facing is that in all the data frames of modbus the last ascii characters should be Carriage return + Line feed which should be read by the PLC as 0D 0A that is in Hexadecimal form. But i m not able to do this. The rest entire string is properly read by the PLC but How do I make it read the CR+LF.

I've written an encryption program that encrypts and decrypts selected files using a user-entered password as the encryption key.
Once en/decrypted, the user will be asked if they want to delete the file that was used, and, in the case of decryption, open the newly decrypted file.

1. For All Users:
Text-chat feature will allow users to chat with the available online users.
2. For Registered User:Allow users to create new folders and sub-folders, to store (upload) files.Allow users to perform move/copy/delete operations on folders and files. The percentage of storage capacity remaining and used should be displayed on the top. Automatic versioning system will record the version/revision information when a file is replaced/overwritten Team management feature will allow users to work in teams (by inviting other existing registered users). The activities of the team include access to the password protected area for the team, uploading files, commenting on the uploaded files (discussion), polls, automatic and manual reminders to the team members.
3. For Administrator:
Approve/Reject new team requests; update/delete existing teams.View all the files and folders uploaded on the server.Allow to perform delete operation on any existing file/folder existing on the server.Delete account for any registered user.Define and Edit storage capacity and other limits such as Maximum file size allowed for uploading.
Queries:
1) As, every user will have his/her own PERSONAL profile page then how will the system redirect the user to his/her PERSONAL profile page after hitting Login?
2) How this chatting feature can be developed?
3) How this storage capacity would be assigned overall?
4) How Administrator will manage all this?
I am totally confused.I have developed SRS as well. but in coding I am totally stuck as I am not so good in coding. I thought Visual Studio 2010 would help me effectively in this case, and I am trying but couldn't find any way for this to be done.

So, I don't want this to get into a flame war between C# and VB.NET developers. This is purely from a standpoint of a development department going forward. We've been a VB.NET company for years, but that was mainly due to who we've hired. That requirement has fallen off the wayside as of late, as we've pulled in 2 guys who specialize in C#. I used to be a C++/C# guy before converting to VB.NET for this company.
So, to everyone who has to deal with this whether on a hiring basis or a maintainability basis: how do you handle standardizing languages of choice going forward? I'm inclined to make a push for C#, as that'll make 3 solid C# developers here. But just curious what everyone's thoughts on this are.

Is it possible to run it on a system with Windows 7 (x64) or do i have to change my programming environment ???
The code itself is in a directory on a windwos server and the workstation has only
a link to the EXE-file server01programsigiksigik.exe. until VISTA, it worked, if i call .net configuration wizard and give "full trust" to "intranet".
can i install .net on a pc with windows 7 ?
