is it possible to dynamically create radio button options that are dependent on a value within a database? For example 'b' is stored in a field so then 'a' will also be a radio button option, 'd' is stored in a database field so then the other radio button options will be 'a', 'b', 'c'....the radio button list will change depending on the value stored in the database field.

I need to create a form with radio buttons, text boxes, labels, etc.. This information needs to be pulled from a database. For instance, I have a form that displays information that needs to be inputed to a database, based on what test is being done for a specific product. Each product requires different tests. So each product may or may not have the same information that needs to be inputed..
What I have done is made a database and filled a table with each product and what tests apply. I then call that database after the product has been selected for the tests. It will then fill an array for that products information for what texts boxes and labels need to be shown. I wanna take this further and have it create a form through code and align all the controls to specific spots so that it will look nice. For example I wouldn't wanna create a control and have it be cut out of the form, or have other controls overlapping others.

As you can see, when I open a program from my menu, a new button will be created with text similar to this, "C:Program ". The button it self will not do anything. How can I create the method at the same time the button it is for is created? Also how can I change the text do that it gives me, for example, CCleaner.exe instead of the whole target path?

I have a need to add 16 radio buttons to a groupbox but I want to be able to select 2 radiobuttons per groupbox. (2 vertical columns of 8 radio buttons each) The radiobuttons are created dynamically and each set of eight have different names to distinguish them. Do I really have to create 2 groupboxes and put each set of 8 in each groupbox and put those groupboxes into my parent groupbox? Is that it with radio buttons...if they are all in 1 groupbox then there is no way to select more than one at once?

What I have is a search program where people can enter in a person's policy number or first and last name and then chose which company to choose from. I have 7 radio buttons. Two are grouped in one groupbox the remaining 5 are grouped in a second groupbox. The two in the first groupbox are to chose whether to search by policy number or by firstname and last name. There are three text boxs. In the other group box is just radio buttons with list of companies to choose from with one radio button set to search through all companies. My problem is, how do I get my code to where I can choose to search by either policy number or by first name/last name and to then choose which company the person is with. This was at the very top of my code. The gender data comes from radio buttons.
My code for adding user input into the structure is:

I'm not sure about the last line re. data from a radio button. Does this say add to the structure only if the male radio button is checked?
My second question is how do I get data from the gender variable in the structure? I want to calculate how many Males versus Females have been stored in the array. I've tried all sorts of things, but nothing works.

I was trying to get a running total based on totalmales (and the same for totalfemales) and then display these results in another form.
I am creating a program to help tutor Paramedics students and the drugs they need to memorize during there classes. I have a form that presents to a student a Trade Name of one of these drugs and then they have a selection of 4 possible generic names to match to. These generic names are then presented to the student with 4 Radio buttons.I want all 4 of these Radio Button to be in Deselected mode when the form presents itself to the student with the Drug names.I have set all 4 radio buttons to "Checked=False", but when I 'F5' to test, the first button always comes up selected. rc = 3 and the loop does iterate three times.The values that come back from the db are correct.xAxis and yAxis are placed properly and is the same increment as my text boxes.It's just not giving me three radio buttons for some reason. It only displays the first one.

I am very new to visual basic and I am just learning how to make applications. I need to make an application that deals with carpet sizes. It is supposed to have 3 radio buttons and 3 checkboxes. The correct way it is supposed to work is that you enter a number in the room lenght textbox and a number in the room width texbox. Then it is supposed to calculate the room area in square feet then the carpet required for the room in sq yd and display this in labels. Then using a radio button you select one of 3 grades of carpet with a price per square yard. After this it is supposed to total the amount due for the carpet. Also you can check as many extras as you want which are displayed in checkboxes. When the calculate button is clicked the application is suppsed to calculate all of this at once and display an amount due. I have everything working so far.
I have problems when I get to the code for calculating the amount due. The application only acknowledges when I have one checkbox checked. It doesn't acknowledge if anything else is checked. I also think I should mention that one of the checkboxes is supposed to calculate the installation at $1.50 per sq yd. I can't get that check box to work properly either.
