I am trying to generate a new checkbox in a different form. [code] While this is great for things like those added, it may make things a bit difficult removing items down the road. Is there an easier way to name things generated?

I want to generate checkbox field using GridView and system will calculate how many field to display according to number of totalDay. If totalDay stored in database is 7, so upon calling the eventID it will generate 7 checkboxes, D1-D7 checkboxes field will appear; if totalDay is 5, it will generate 5 checkboxes, D1-D5 checkboxes field will appear.
In PHP, I manage to auto generate number of D field I want according to value totalDay. But I do not know how to code in VB. View 1 RepliesI have a form in an application that I'm building and in it I have a datagridview that when a user clicks a checkbox on a line in the datagridview and "submits" the data, then the form will insert all of the data on that line (along with the code "Holiday") into a database. Currently if I click in the checkbox on any line other than the first line and put a line break on the "Try" statement, and then fire the submit_onclick event, I'm never reaching that break point but if I click on the checkbox on the first line and submit that data, that works and it behaves at I stated above. I have a form called LeaseAbstract; within the form I have two tabs: 'General' and 'Responsibility List'. In the General tab there is a checkbox called 'OutsideLease'. What I want is when the Outside Lease checkbox is checked the Repsonsibility tab becomes enabled and visible. I don't want that tab visible unless that checkbox is checked.

I'm trying to set my software up so that when I check the checkbox for winRAR to be installed, it'll pop up a new window asking if I want to install the 32 bit version or the 64 bit version. I have no problem getting the window to show up but than if I try to exit out of the window and than uncheck the box (in case it was accidentally checked) it'll just open the window again. I am thinking I have to tell vb that when I uncheck the box it shouldn't do anything.

(I know that the Nothing under the Me.chk_rar.Checked = False doesn't work but I left that blank once and it just opened a bunch of windows and crashed my system. I know it says "E:Music" right now but I just pointed it there so that there was something there normally it'll point to the other window. If I need to created a new Form for every little window that I have for instance the little window that I want to pop up, do I need to create a new form just for that little window to ask which architecture is needed and than giving the options for 32 bit or 64 bit.

I am trying to add a checkbox column to a DataGridView in a simple window forms application.
I am pulling back some data from a database using ADO.NET, putting into a datatable, and then setting the datagridview datasource to the datatable. I then want to add a checkbox column as the second column. So far I have this code that seems to work:

This code 'works' and I get MyDataGridView to show the data with the checkbox column in the correct position in the table.
However, for some reason, I cannot check any of the check boxes in the DataGridView? I have tried lots of things (e.g.altering the readonly state of the column) but cannot get it to work.

I have two checkboxes in a windows form, one is called New Assumption the second is called Edit Assumption. What I want to do is that if either of these checkboxes are checked then the other should be unchecked.

I have two Forms, The 1st one has a datagridview..but in order to load the data to form1 datagridview, i need to open another form w/c also has a datagridview w/checkboxes on it..
