Create A Form With A TrackBar Control : Generate A Frequency?

create a form with a TrackBar control so that when you Scroll the TrackBar it generates a frequency based on the value of the TrackBar. Beep() isn't really what I'm after. I was wanting it to smoothly transition through the frequencies. Basically, I want to create something that sounds something like a Theremin.
I've been looking online, and I can't seem to find anything. I don't even know how this would be accomplished. Is there a simple command to say "play this frequency until I tell you otherwise", or do I need to generate a .wav on the fly and have the system play that?
im new to trackbars and i can get the trackbar to display a lower tick frequency but the slider still moves in increments of 1/10 ticks per movement. how do i get it to skip to the next available marked tick?
know the millisecond interval, used by the framework trackbar, between calling the ValueChanged event when moving the grip with a mouse?I've implemented my own trackbar and I'd like the behaviour to be consistent with what the user expects.I've had a look in reflector but it's one of those controls where most of the implementation is not viewable.
ETA: Actually, thinking about it, it's not as simple as that. For small changes, the TrackBar is raising the event for every change. However, if you make a large fast change with the grip, it will not raise the event for every step. Just wondering exactly how the framework does this?
I'm back, and now with a great problem...I need to put a TrackBar in my application, in a Panel with an ImageBackGround... but the TrackBar doesn't work with Transparent Background...Now I want to build my own TrackBar Control, but support the Transparent Background...I read in some page that I need to use CustomDraw... to customize te aparience of my TrackBar... but I can't undertand how..

I'm looking to draw a trackbar normal, only with a transparent background. I have created a new class that supports transparent backgrounds set to true. Without using userpaint, the trackbar does nothing or takes the color of it's parent. When using userpaint I have to draw the control on mine own. Not quite sure where to start first though...
I've read about drawing a line (not so hard), drawing a floating object (to act as marker), and handling events on when the floating object moves left/right... Drawing 3 separate objects inside an inherited trackbar control seems like a clunky way of calling methods that should exist somewhere? Is there an easier way to draw the control normal without a background? If not, some in starting to implement all 3 new objects working together would be good (I could draw them separately but that's about it).
MainForm having a few buttons, VolForm is inheriting MainForm. I can see this perfectly in the designer.VolForm itself contains a trackbar. Now have 2 forms. Form1 and Form2 both inherit VolForm. If I change the trackbar from Form1, and then show Form2, the trackbar is not having the same value. Is there any way to keep this trackbar the same in every form that inherits VolForm?
i would like to have a trackbar on my form that will correspond to the HUE of the color of the backgruond, given a range of 1 to 360, and another trackbar that will correspond to saturation of the color of the backgruond, within a range of 1 to 50.
I'm using Visual Studio 2005, net framework 2.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer ver 7.0.5730.13. Create a form with the webbrowser control and two buttons. Use the code that i provided at the end of this question to understand the scenario. As far as i know, this behaviour happens only on the myspace.com web site. 1. Navigate to your myspace.com inbox page, read a message and click on the reply button to reply to the message. The page will show correctly in the web browser.2. Then click on Button1, repeat the same process (read a message in the myspace.com inbox, click on the reply button), and the textboxes where you have to enter your reply will be gone.3. Then click on Button2, repeat the same process, and the page will show correctly in the web browser.4. Then comment out or remove the oDoc_MouseDown event, click on Button1, repeat the same process, and the page will show correctly.Why does the page shows correctly when the oDoc_MouseDown event is removed? The same behaviour happens if you use any other event of the oDoc variable.I desperately need the page on myspace to be shown correctly with the oDoc_MouseDown event and other events of the oDoc variable. I have gradient on a form set as follows in Example 1 below. I also have a custom panel which has its colour set as in Example 2. I want to get the same colour from Example 2 into Example 1. However I am not sure how to do this within example 1.

I've got a VB.Net form application that dynamically loads user controls based on which navigation link the user clicks on. I'd like to make it easier to use at Design time by putting a link of some sort to open the User Control at design time. The link would go onto the form in the space where the User Control will be going. This just saves a little time from having to browse through the files to open the correct file.
