Create The Control Runtime And In The Memory And Not Showing Anything In The Form?
Jun 8, 2010
I wanna to load a web page and login.I know how to do this with a web browser control but:I wanna to create the control runtime and in the memory and not showing anything in the form.I wanna to load many pages in the memory and extract my information needed without anything to see by user.
I am writing a Windows form application where a client has the ability to add as many chart as needed in the form by clicking at an icon in the menu bar at run time. These charts will have the same format, and I will have them linked to a text box for the client to select which entity to chart.I have no clue where to start. I did a web search and I have found articles that show how to add user's control at design time (I don't think it is what I want).
I am working on a user control. Embedded in my user control is another user control. All of a sudden while programming some simple stuff I get an "out of memory error message". I can no longer load my project (after reboots etc.). I start a new project, copy the control.vb files into a new project folder.. add then add the control to the new project. Ican view the design and the code of the control. When I attempt to drag the control onto another control in the same project I get an error message "Failed to create component... 'system.outofmemoryexception. Out of memory".
I googled this and found several different codes, but none of them work. What I want is to be able to create a control, for example a Label, during the runtime of my program. I've tried:
Dim lbl as New Label lbl.Text = "Hello" lbl.Location = New Point(20, 20)
At the top of the RTB i have a toolstrip with bold, italic, and underline buttons - these work just fine. However i need to add some color buttons, i dont need a color picker since i only need 3 colors - Black, Blue, Red. So i added some buttons for these, however i cant get the buttons to work... my syntax is wrong. I also dont want the color buttons to remove any other formatting from text (like bold, underline, etc) - i achieved this for the other buttons like so:
Private Sub BoldButton_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles BoldButton.Click NotesBox.SelectionFont = New Font(NotesBox.SelectionFont,
I want to create a form that shows different pictureboxes, showing different images, when the "Next" or "Previous" button is clicked.Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click 'button 1 is the "Next" button PictureBox2.Show()End Sub
Private Sub Button2_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button2.Click 'button 2 is the "Previous" button PictureBox1.Show() End Sub
I'm new to programming and would like to know how can i create radio buttons at runtime using the field values in my sql database. Im creating a survey application.(windows forms)in the relational database i have 2 tables one for questions and one for options.
I have a datagridview control on a form that I want to make readonly, before showing the form. I can disable it before showing the form with the [code]...
I have created a custom Combobox and added it to my toolbox, and it works well. Now I have added a custom ListBox to the same file as the combo box, but it does not show on my designer when I place it. I can however add it at runtime. ''ComboBox <DefaultEvent("SelectedIndexChanged"), _ ToolboxBitmap(GetType(System.Windows.Forms.ComboBox))> _ Public Class ProjectsComboBox Inherits ComboBox ''My Customization [Code] ..... I have tried removing the "DefaultEvent..." and still no dice.
I need my app. to Create an Control Array at runtime that will consist of up to 50 Data Bound Labels. The app. will first be checking the 1st database field (Ing1) to see if there is data, if so then only create the 1st Data Bound Label (lblIng1) and then check the next field and so on.
The problem is that VB 2008 dos not seem to support Control Arrays. There must be another way to work around this.
Supposedly I have a datatable containing 2 columns (controlname as string, containing the name of the control and controltype as string containing the type of the control), for example ("label1", "Label") On runtime i want to loop over the datatable and create the controls from that datatable and add them to the form accordingly. but the problem that i don't know how to convert the control name to a control type, meaning that i want to convert label1 to a type of control Label, inorder for me to set its properties on runtime. so how can i do this and is there a way to convert the string to control according to it controltype.
I have a desktop application in vb.net 2003. Here when we load the main screen we find an unhandled exception showing out of memory, but we are able to continue working off the form and retrieving data. It works fine, but the image is not getting loaded. In the main screen we have a background image loaded, one of the images is animated
I have a DataGridView in one of my form which at a certain point I resize an change it's position. I would like to be able to restore it to the designer's default position at runtime. I know I could save it before changing and then restoring it later, but I feel like there surely is a way in .NET to just restore a control position to it's default.
I'm developing a windows application using vb.net (VS 2005 and windows XP) I've set images (transparent png files) to buttons.I do it importing images into the resources of the project I could do it for most of the buttons of this project, but today I noticed new images I set, not showing in run time. In the development form I can see all images on buttons, but when I run the application, buttons with new images are missing. This happens to the new images I import and set as button images. I tried few times new images I set are not showing.
I have created multiple dropdown list at runtime and populated with data. I also have added an eventhandler to determine the selected value of the drop down list.
The code is as follows : Dim tbl As New Table() tbl.EnableViewState = "true"
I have created an application which creates multiple webbrowser controls at runtime...now i want to clean up memory when these webrowsers are deleted see the code how can i do it(i have tried dispose method but no luck)
Creation on dynamic web browsers on button click Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
I have a new problem with this same Form Printing project and I get exactly the same exception but from the different point of code:
line 538: d.PrintFunction(c, typePrint, mp, x, y, extendedHeight, ScanForChildControls)
The exception type is System.AccessViolationException and it says (after I translate it from my own language in which the message is given in my pc, into English):"Protected memory was tried to be read or written. This often indicates that the other memory is damaged"
I'm using Visual Studio 2005, net framework 2.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer ver 7.0.5730.13. Create a form with the webbrowser control and two buttons. Use the code that i provided at the end of this question to understand the scenario. As far as i know, this behaviour happens only on the myspace.com web site. 1. Navigate to your myspace.com inbox page, read a message and click on the reply button to reply to the message. The page will show correctly in the web browser.2. Then click on Button1, repeat the same process (read a message in the myspace.com inbox, click on the reply button), and the textboxes where you have to enter your reply will be gone.3. Then click on Button2, repeat the same process, and the page will show correctly in the web browser.4. Then comment out or remove the oDoc_MouseDown event, click on Button1, repeat the same process, and the page will show correctly. Why does the page shows correctly when the oDoc_MouseDown event is removed? The same behaviour happens if you use any other event of the oDoc variable.I desperately need the page on myspace to be shown correctly with the oDoc_MouseDown event and other events of the oDoc variable. Please provide a solution to this
problem.RegardsPublic Class Form1 Private WithEvents oDoc As HtmlDocument Private Sub Form1_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load wb.Navigate(" ") End Sub Private Sub Button1_Click(
