The app. will first be checking the 1st database field (Ing1) to see if there is data, if so then only create the 1st Data Bound Label (lblIng1) and then check the next field and so on.

If the user check a checkbox, the value is written as checked in the data field (MS Access).The problem is when I search for the user information, I need the information from the Data base to populate(return) to the windows form. Example: If I enter a users phone number and the user data is present, the form gets populated with the information the user previously entered which was store in the database.Example: If the user selected checkbox1 and submits the form. it seems that adding for example a button Dim myButton as New Button and then addHandler to mySub("lol", 255) is not possible. Where mySub is Shared Sub MySub(byRef myString as string, myInteger as Integer)
So: addHandler myButton.click, addressOf mySub("lol", 255) - returns an error saying it does not work with parentheses or whatever. I somehow see why this might not be possible, so I'm looking for a work-around on this problem.
I have a Boolean that writes to a data field. The data field(column) is set to YES/NO, if the user check a checkbox, the value is written as check in the data field.The problem is when I search for the user information, I need to get to form to the state it was in when the user submitted it.

PS: In page header, I use box object. But in Details section, I just use line object because in report footer, I need to show Total amount. If I use a box in these three sections, there is the box is expanded the whole page without having detail rows at the last page.
I have a list with several fields that is created from dataset from a linqtosql query. At run-time, the user gets to specify what field he/she wants to display from the list. In other languages, I can dynamically do this like:

i've to just display text from two different tables using two different navigations for each table.
1.when i'll click on first navigation, data from first table should have to display in textbox
2. when i'll click on second navigation, data from second table should have to display in same textbox alternatively

i've binded designtime table1 to textbox
so how to unbind it & bind table2 to same texbox runtime.

Member Information
DVD Information
Borrow DVDs
What I would like to do is when I am viewing a member's details, if I click a button 'Borrow DVD for Member', the member's ID number transfers over to the Borrow DVDs table in the Member ID which also would hold some information from the DVD Information table, but I'm sure if i can figure out how to do this firstly, I will be able to apply the same rule and work it out myself.I have been trying to use a query statement like;

but that has been coming up with error codes and completely not working.

I am building VB.NET application that takes data from text files that are exported from a legacy DOS program. These are written to a datatable and displayed in a datagridview. Right now my code simply loops through the datagridview and inserts the data into the database (SQL Server). There is a requirement now that the client number must be checked before the insert to see if it exists in the database. If it does, then the value of one field (tax rate) is checked against the value of the field in the datagridview. If there is a difference, then the rate is to be updated in the database and the data that was in the database is to be written to a history table for audit purposes. If the client number is not there, then we are to do the insert (which is already written). I want to know what is the most elegant and efficient solution for this problem.
I need to compare what is in the database table with what is in the datagridview, update the history table for records that exist, and then insert new records.
