Get A List (or More Generically, Just An Object) Available Multiple Places?

In a program that I'm responsible for, we want to start keeping track of milestones. These milestones are quite simple and consist of a unique identifier, the project they're assigned to, a description, and a date that they should be accomplished by (or not, if there's no concrete due date).We use a slightly modified Model-View-Presenter architecture, and currently I'm passing this list around through the presenters, but it seems fairly clunky, so I was wondering:What's the best way to make this list available to all the presenters/views that need it?We're using VB.NET 3.5, and I was toying with the idea of making this a shared property of the main presenter, but it does seem like that adds some unnecessary coupling.
Is there a way to write a single routine that could enumerate a list regardless of the data type? I am trying to write a custom XML serialization class and it would be great if I could enumerate all items in a generic list the same way, regardless if it was of type String, Integer, etc.
Problem: Using the sub routing below, when adding a value to another value the results eventually change from 2-decimal places to multiple decimal places.Basically, the amount stored should always only be 2 decimal places, because the values passed in are always 2 decimal places. Output from calling the sub routine multiple times.
Running total = 329430.75 New Withheld Amount = 710.79 Running total = 330141.54

As a workaround, I have a new routine that uses a custom round function to properly store only 2 decimal places - as the VB round function does not perform the type of rounding desired.I understand that we are removing the value from the dictionary and adding it back..
I have written a program for cleaning my pc. I want to be able to start the Form1 (which opens the entire program) from the start menu. And I would like to run Form2 (which runs just the scan) from the context menu of the recycle bin. How can I open Form1 from one shortcut and Form2 from another?
I have created two structures, one named "Product" and the other named "Item". These structures are quite similar but are at the same time quite different from each other. The structure definitions are as follows. Ultimately, I declare arrays in my containing class which access these structures as a type. Their declaration: "Products() as Product" and "Items() as Item". All has been fine and dandy until one day, I go to change the items Enabled() values, and something happens. Not only does it change the Items(index).Enabled(index) value, it does it on the corresponding Products(index).Enabled(index) value, even though it was never specified to do so. Also, nowhere in my coding have i defined this sort of thing to occur. It is rediculous, because I watch it happen. I turn on the watch window, and debug one step at a time, and every time, I watch the Item line step, I look down at the arrays of products and items, and both values have changed. How do I get this to stop, and only change the Item.Enable value??

Limited to using v2.0 of .Net framework (we use VB.net) due to environmental constraints on our servers.I've got an ASP.net webpage which pulls data from a webservice that performs checks on user accounts in active directory. Operators can check multiple accounts at one time using the web interface. The webservice returns a list(of AccountCheck) objects which themselves contain single properties like username, email address, and List(of AccountError) objects which contain multiple properties.[code]What I want to do is using some kind of repeater, create multiple panels or divs which contain labels showing the username, email etc, and a gridview which has the accounterror list bound to it to show all the errors. The users could be checking 2, 5, 7 accounts at once, and is dynamic.
I am working in VB.net and have a Class, Foo, that implements an interface, IBar.I have a List of Foo's, but I need to pass a list of IBar's into a function, but I keep getting casting errors, even when I use DirectCast.My code is [code]MainWorks works, but it would be really annoying and inefficient to have to do that everywhere I want to call this function.

I have a bunch of classes that each have a property called Sequence. This property is implemented from an interface called ISequenced. For this example lets call one of these classes A. When I have a List(of A), I want to be able to sort them using the standard List.Sort(addressof delegate) where the delegate is a standard function that takes in two ISequenced objects and compares their sequence numbers and returns a boolean flag, rather than declaring a function for each individual class that implements ISequenced.
E.g.

I have a system which have already handled exceptions by try-catch blocks everywhere.How do I quickly and generically implement exception logging like overriding something instead of inserting logging functions in every single catch block?
I am trying to have multiple threads run through an arraylist of object and process each object. My problem is that each thread processes every object in the array.So they are not working together on the job. I made sample application to show my problem. Does link text mean I have to return a concrete implementation? Even though I am using svcutil with the /r that includes my entites(where IMyInterface is defined). I get no errors but it changes all List(of IMyInterface) to list(of Object) and I cannot deserialize it on the client

I need to be able to add elements to a copy of mylist.testlist without modifying the global mylist object. (Which seems to be happening via the below code.)When I am working on x, which should be a totally separate object, mylist is getting modified as well. How can I fix this? I have worked with lists extensively and never seen this behavior before. I have tested and reproduced the problem in .NET 3.5 and .NET 4.0 on Win 7 Pro 32bit.

Is there any short cut method instead of iterating over for earch?
I am having a problem when setting VB.NET list object to another.I create an instance on ReadLocations and than create an object of ReadLocation where then I loop through ReadLocations and set ReadLocation1 equal to rl. What happens is that if I then go and change ReadLocation1 to something else (assdfhsd) it will also change the ReadLocations index. I am really confused why it would be doing that unless it is "=" sign means referencing instead of actually setting the value. Please help as I am a C# developer but the program I am modifying is in VB.NET.[code]
i am trying to create a list of list in that i would like to work on multiple accounts at the same time. lets say i have 5 accounts. every account has a seperate name. each account has a few fields. so i though of having a list of bookkeeping (with 5 accounts) and a list of accounts (with expense, income, tax, status, etc as fields). [code] and if the idea of using list of list works how do i loop through both lists.

I'm trying to code a class of RandomNumber. One of the class methods needs to populate a "List (Of RandomNumber)" ... which was passed as a parameter to the method ... with 10 random numbers between 1 and 50. DEAD SIMPLE :)
I've created A list of object "emails" which contains the "email" object which has 3 parameters (String Address, String Subject, String Body)I then want to add to the list by creating more instances of "email". However, I've tried so many different ways and it's having none of it.
