The file upload is used to grab the path of the file and upload the path to the database not the file. Dec 23, 2011I'm trying to export the details in my datalist into a PDF file by using this third part program called Itextsharp. However, I'm encountering problems in generating the PDF as it keeps giving me the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error which points to my "htmlparser.Parse(sr)"
I been trying for 2 hours now to fix this problem however no progress. Does anyone here have experience in Itextsharp? Could you shed some light onto this problem?

Jun 10, 2010I've been going round and round with this and thought maybe someone would know.I've created a program which with process.showdialog calls up a form into which the user enters username and password then is given access to the program itself. If the username and password is incorrect, the program closes.
There is a frmMain and in the form load I've added the process to open this sort of splash login screen. It's not a splash really, it isn't timed to close down.
I fill out the login information, click the save settings checkbox which creates a settings file in MyDocuments. My problem is that in debugging, removing the click closes the login page without the click actually becoming unclicked. The Main program opens before there's been a chance to register the "unclick." Hope this makes sense.

I am not talking about common properties (such as file size, creation date), but the ones written by variuos software. In my particular case I need to get the detail called "Date taken" for a jpg image file.
I could use PHP,Java or VB.NET, whatever is easier.My final goal: I have a bunch of images I took with different versions of Android on my phone. They are all named with different naming convention, most of them just something like IMG_[consecutive_numbers].jpg. So I want to rename them all, but for that I need their original creation date, and since I have moved them from my pc to the phone and back so many times, I cannot trust the "creation date" property. I found that all of them have a property which was set by the camera called "Date taken", which is still intact and valid.
