How To Save Size Of Form
May 30, 2010I have googled, but i cant find anything useful about saving changes done in a PropertyGrid. i only figured out that i'm going to use xml. Here is how to save the size of the form.

I tried using a timer and just say txtbox1.width = me.size.width - 100 or whatever space for the buttons and handling it for when it reaches negative numbers (with autosize off on the textbox) but its not at all smooth.

Nov 20, 2010I have a question how can I save in My.Settings only the font name and not the size.I have a form where I can change the font for a label on another form. This works perfect.I can even save it in my.settings.
The thing is though, that on that other form I have 2 labels, thet should have the same font name, but the size should be different. (label1 has font size = 40 (can be changed) and label2 should have a fixed font size (should not be changed)).I tried to use label2.font.size = "14", but font.size is readonly.

But at 300dpi the form is 2550 x 4200. Do I have to build the form as per the dpi ratio? I cannot make the form greater than 1612 x 1212.
