May 7, 2010I'm trying to match a certain DateTime value with the current system DateTime. I have a timer and a label on a form. Timer interval is set to 1000. When the form loads, the timer starts ticking. As soon as the current DateTime matches the value of the variable, it shows a message in the label. When I'm writing the following code, the values don't match even if the current system DateTime is equal to the variable. Label1 isn't showing 'Times Matched':[code]The default format of 'Now' is the same as I have stored in dtmVar variable. So there's no question of format mismatch. Does that mean 'Now' is not actually a DateTime property? Provided, my O.S. is Windows Vista Ultimate and all date/time settings are set to default.

The lowest I got with a few colors was using the SaveJPGWithCompressionSetting the file size was 43kb.What im trying to achieve is something like remote desktop, the client constantly takes images for the current desktop then send its via TCP to the server(because I cant figure out any other way to get desktop stream). I was able to make the program work for the smallest number but it doesn't show the number of negative number.2nd edit: i changed the innombre to innbrnegatif+1 in the nbrnegatif = innbrnombre+1 and now it seems to be working.

The second app then uses ProcessStartInfo to run the first app again, this time it runs as admin (no UAC prompt) I guess this is correct because it is AsInvoker and it is being invoke from an application that is running as admin, but I actually want it to run without Admin rights - or more correctly run it with the lowest possible execution level..I know you can use ProcessStartInfo.Verb = "runas" to elevate but can you descend?

C# - Compare Datetime.Now With A Datetime Variable
Dec 27, 2010I try to compare Datetime.Now with a Datetime variable I set, using the Datetime.CompareTo() method. I use a timer to compare these every second and display the result, but as the current time approaches the time I set, the result changes from 1 to -1, but never 0, which means these two are never equal. I'm suspecting the Datetime structure contains milliseconds?

the msgbox gives me the following result: 29/01/2011 18:49:21 my sqlException gives me the following error: 102 - Incorrect syntax near '18'. Is it better that i set the datatype to char in my sql database? It's maybe a bit easier? When I do that, can I calculate with these date?
Finding The Lowest Number From A Data File?
Jun 13, 2009I am taking a VB2008 class and I have the entire program figured out except for one thing. I've checked our text I've scoured the internet and I've tried tons of things.
What this section of code does is access a data file, calculate the average from it... done.. that works, calculates the highest number in it... done that works... and calculate the lowest number from the file... nope... not working. I've tried tons of things and what i have in there now keeps giving me an output of 0, when it should be a 2.

Okay so I am making a program that: allows the user enter the number of customers served for each of 12 months into an array. The application should calculate and display the following statistics: total number of customers for the year, the average monthly number of customers, and the months with the highest and lowest numbers of customers. Use inputBox to get user input. Do not accept non-numeric or negative numbers.
The problem that I am having is that I do not know how to display which was the best and worst month. I imagine I need something that targets the highest/lowest number and finds the text in the corresponding index but I'm not sure how to do this.
