I have a listview and the list contains 2 columns.
first is Username
second is Password
I want the information under those columns to be save as a text file in this style:
username1 : password1
dowpkf : wateverpass
and so on .so basically the items in list view should be saved in this template username..
Is it possible to take a saved .tif image and insert it into a pdf template to imagefields?
I have this code already wrote which works great at inserting text into text fields on templates.

When i try to use that same code only with an image file location going to the field It runs through and just turns up a black pdf file.
i used the sorting method at msdn but it isnt nice. it sorts in string format like 1,11,12,2,21,23,3,31,32 etc. is there any other sorting method.

View 4 RepliesI have a listview (details) with owner draw set to true (so i could make rows alternate in color, looks cooler) which basically contains items and subitems whose texts reflect status info that updates constantly
the problem is, sometimes (if the task runs quickly) the status changes really quickly, and as a result, listview items "flicker" for a millisecond no error, no real problem, its just really annoying and makes the program look less professional.
Is there a way to make the listview not flicker? Or maybe there is a way to make it so that the listview doesn't process too many drawsubitem calls during the same time interval? or maybe there is some customized list view out there that does the trick better?
NOTE: i tried with owner draw set to false. it flickers less, but still flickers. same problem :S
Also NOTE: i am not making cross-thread calls. i have 50 items in the listview and 4 colums, mainly the last 2 subitems change.

I have an admin page where a user will select a document path and add that path to a certain column of a database. I am using a fileupload on the page where they can find the document and copy the path and then paste it into the details view. However, I want to skip this step and I want them to select a document and automatically make the path show up in the details view.

The problem now is when I saved a record into sql server (EG Technical Manager) and try to view back the saved data, it always show the first item (Director) in combobox. But, my sql server has saved is "Technical Manager" for that saved record.

View 1 RepliesI have a DB table with the names of my Menus and a User names. After a User is logging succesfully I go through the table with the Menuitem names and enable /disable the menuitems accordingly.
Can anybody kindly show me a workaround on how to do this. For example i have this table below and after succesfully loging in as username "aaaaa". Menustrip items with name accounts and finance should be enabled and the rest like billing will be disable.

In the code above, if there are no children (the ChildrenPath property returns NULL), nothing is rendered in the view. In the code below, when ChildrenDataSetPath is NULL the XamDataGrid still gets rendered. How do I achieve the same for a single object (as opposed to a collection) as the datacontext?

My application is suppose to save the information that I put in the application that is in a listbox in form2. All the information is in form1, but I got it to save it in the listbox in form2 and I can see it when I load up the form2. Im suppose to make 10 different list for it, (it says it should be in arrays, but I dont know how to do it) and I should be able to save them everytime I put a new one in, but when I put a new list in the listbox and close the application and then reopen it, its erased, how do I save it and keep it in the lstbox so it doesnt get erased?
