There is the capability to have unlimited MDI child forms open however when you click on change font colour of something similar i only want it to do it in the currently active MDIChild. This code sets a control variable to the currently active control, then copies the text from that control into it's matching "Formula" field for reference by the user), then turns the string of math into the answer. For example, if the user enters 5 + 4, that will be copied to the Formula textbox, then it will be evaluated and the answer will replace the 5 + 4. And lastly, the UpdateTotal sub will execute which will add this answer to the existing Total field.

I have developed an active x control and signed it with certificate. I know that digital signing is needed , so that the browser knows that the active x comes valid source.My asp.net form has a button , which invokes a method on activex control as -[code]....
But it errors on browser stating that the - IE has blocked this site from using an active x control in an unsafe manner. ( Please see attachment).So should I have to develop the active x control which implement IObjectSafety and also signed digitally, so that it can execute on client browser without any warnings from IE. Any examples.
I'm using VB.NET within Visual Studio 2008.I have a ActiveX control on my form that contains a method that takes an Array. In VB6 I just passed in the array and it was populated OK. When I do the same in VB.NET, I get a result but the value of each index appears to be a pointer.Here is the C++ method code...

In VB6, the value of maintRowList(0) is in the range 0 to Windows screen height(its a pixel value)In VB.NET the value of maintRowList(0) is a value that looks like a pointer to me (e.g 285671429).In VB.NET, the type of the 1st parameter is Object. In VB6 it is a Variant. I've tried AxMyCtrl.GetRowInfo(maintRowList(0), 24) and got the same result. I think I need to get a pointer to either the array or the first element of the array but I can't see a way to do that. how I can pass an array to this type of C++ ActiveX method?BTW - I cannot change the ActiveX code so the solution must be within VB.NET.
i am making my final year project in vb.net for data entry i want to make the project more user friendly i use code to change the control focus by pressing 'Enter'(ASCII 13).. and clear the content of current control by pressing 'Esc'(ASCII 27)... in my project one form contains at-least 300 of controls say(t1,t2,t3,t4...)
so in the keypress event of t1 i have writen

It is very annoying when user wants to close the form, but due to the validate event of the active control, it asks for the valid input. The user is forced to give valid input to close the form. When they first start using the application, they can single click on the buttons in the flash movie and button responds accordingly. But after a while (and I haven't been able to pin-point an exact thing that changes it or my issue would be solved), the user has to double-click on the button in the flash movie for them to work.

The ListBox.SelectedIndex is calculated from the current condition (normally item 2 in the list) and displayed. If the user requires to change this condition the Keyboard Up/Down would be used for navigation (The App is very keyboard intensive), however if the ListBox.SelectedIndex is set at 2 and the keyboard down arrow is pressed the selected item displayed changes to 0 not 3 as required. Is there a way to synchronise the keyboard control with the current selected index?

I also want to set it so the list is always visable so you when you reach the bottom of the list you can scroll down to the bottom but if you scroll back up once it reaches that middle point it will start to scroll up again.

This works as intended as long as none of the windows that belong to this application are the Foreground window. If this program is running and another application's window is the Foreground window, then it flashes as intended. If, however, any of this application's windows are the Foreground window, then it doesn't flash.

I have a listbox control (in a WinForms application) that lists a bunch of statistics about records selected from a database.
Is there an easy way using VB .NET to take the contents of this listbox and send it all to the printer, or at least have one of those standard windows print dialogs come up, prompting the user for which printer to send the listbox contents to? Doesn't have to be fancy or anything.
