Make An Application Which Has A Feature Of An Event Calendar?
Apr 18, 2009I'm trying to make an application which has a feature of an event calendar. I am quite familiar with the MonthCalendar tool in the toolbox, but that's not really what I'm looking for. I would like to make a calendar that somewhat resembles 'iCal' in Mac OS X. If any of you use Microsoft Groove Workspaces, the calendar in that is very close to what I'm thinking of. I want the user to be able to double click the day and add new events which will show the title of the events in that day on the calendar when the events are saved. Also i would like to have the user be able to make recurring events. Is this even possible with Visual Basic '08?

May 25, 2011I need to pull the back end data from an outlook calendar into a SQL database. I would liek to build the program using VB.NET. I have no idea on how to do this. Apr 15, 2011I've got a datetimepicker control on a vb .net 2008 form. I have set it to show a custom format of "dd/MM/yyyy". The problem is this: - when i click on the arrow button, a small calendar is shown in which i should be able to select a date. The only way i can do that is by using the arrow keys and pressing Enter. Clicking on any date value inside this calendar doesn't do anything.How can i make the value of the datetimepicker change to what i have clicked inside the dropdown calendar?

Dec 30, 2011using the calendar from the webfor tools, NOT CALENDAR EXTENDER, and my question is, is there a way to add text to a specific day of the calendar, for example, that i want to click on the number where its shows 29 of the month december, then it shows me a texbox or anything that takes data from my, and i type anything in there, like an event or something, then i click on a button to save my entry, and next time i visit my page i see that day that i clicked on changed its color and shows my text when i hoover the mouse on top of it,

Jul 21, 2009The Calendar control (the Month Calendar) control in VB 2008. I am creating an attendance timesheet and I want the Calendar to color each date differently like e.g An employee Paul is selected from a list.
On the calendar I select the month. (The dates are not supposed to be selectable). Then lets say it is June. He is late on the 1st and the Second, so those days are supposed to be colored red (the whole block). Let's also say he is absent on the fourth and so I want that date to be coloured black. How do I do this? I tried finding a query and my friend told me that this functionality is not available in the current control and that I was best off making my own control (???).
I have tried selecting specific dates and bolding them (there is a function that allows this) but I am stumped trying to find two different ways to differentiate colours. Second:- How do I link a calendar with an Access Database?

My problem is this: As you can see from the image, Those two boxes will be where the user will enter in a first and last name, and that will be added into the address where x1namex and x2namex are.
