I have checked the settings on both computers (display settings, font settings, desktop settings) I've made both computers identical and still get the same result.
I am making this little tool for this online game i play (league of legends some of you might know it) Basically I made a small program which consists of 4 buttons and when you click button it starts timer and beeps once it reaches 0. Thats fine. Problem is I have to go out of game to click the button to start the countdown.My question is. View 1 RepliesIts a League Organizer, basicly ive started it off with 16 teams and end up with 1(winner) 16 box's on the far left, then 8, then 4, then 2, then 1. the 16 box's have "Team 1" "Team 2" etc... ive put a new/clear/open/save button in that order.
BUT this is my problem..when i save(Save Button) the text file saves all the text wrong it ends up like this...Team 1Team 2Team 3Team 4 Etc...

How do i do this. i want to be able to press a button and the text from textbox1 (25 numbers) will be added as a new line to a list box. i would also like it to save so next time the i open the program the text that went from textbox1 will still be in the list box. i am also using Visual Basic Express Edition 2010.
View 3 RepliesI have built a program in where I have to add and remove items from two listboxes. Listbox1 consists of a file which I have picked up on my C:/. Within this file, are different lines of items. At the end of the item line is a figure. I have a textbox in where when someone adds the an item from listbox1 to listbox2. On clicking the add button, it will add the total which was in the file. If I add more items, it will give me a running total of the items I have added to listbox2.
Now, I'm bamboozled in how to subtract the items from listbox2 with the remove button. So that when a user wants to remove an item that they currently placed in Listbox2. On pressing remove it will subtract the running total from the item which has been removed.. Here is my code in where I add products to the textbox. I have two other text boxes which I use to have these running totals. FYI, Textbox where value is outputted is Textbox5. Textbox6 is used to refresh the data and the other textbox is named 'Total'.

I have a 'DataGrid' usercontrol on my simple little form and I press a button that opens a text file and populates the DataGrid like so,

Where A, B, and C are my column headers.

View 2 RepliesI dynamically create buttons on a form and use the button text as ids so that I can pass that to an SQL query to pull saved data about that button when necessary, but I also use an image over buttons that have information saved about them. What I need to know is how do I keep the text on the button from appearing when there is an image assigned to that button? By default vb.net shows both the text and the image and no TextImageRelation values allow for the image to take precedence. I tried changing the text color to transparent, but the outline of the text is still visible through the image. Is there anyway to keep the text value as it is but just show the image on the button?

I have a button on my form where I'm showing a ContextMenu when the user left clicks on it, I'm actually using MouseUp right now to show it.What I would like to have happen is the user click on the button, the button stays pressed while the ContextMenu shows, it returns to normal when the ContextMenu closes (Either a menu item was selected, the user hits the escape key or they click/tab to somewhere else). Also I'd like to position the ContextMenu in the lower left corner if the menu opens down or the top left corner if it opens up. So the left edge of the ContextMenu is flush with the left edge of the button.Moreso the button staying pressed until the ContextMenu is closed.
Edit: I'm also ok with this being it's own control inheriting the FW's Button that used the assigned ContextMenu as well.
I have a Form with 4 Text Boxes, 1 label and one button. What I need to do is: Make all the text boxes and label only except Hexadecimal inputs.when I press Button1

Once again every all the numbers are in Hexadecimal format.
I have two comboboxes each with an entirely differnt name and for some reason when I press one of them it goes to the other one's code event (_selectedindexchanged). I checked the code line and they each have the same name (at the begining) and handle name (at the end). Anyone has any idea how this can happen and how I fix it?
