I need code for moving objects from left to right, and from right to left using keyboard buttons.Left-Right.The object is a picturebox in a book style.So, I need the code for "opening pages" from left to right using keyboard.I had placed buttons but it looks terible like that.And its much easier listing with keyboard.

I made a web browser and i want to make the backspace key go to a specified url instead of to the previous one. this is what ive got but not working it freezes the application if i press back space

But if i take out the middle part it wont freeze.
I have a problem to enter a web site by program and not manually. I just navigated WebBrowser1 to a web site. After the navigation there is a button in the site. The button will send me to a link if I will click on him. I got the link path (After calling to a Sub doing it) in a String call SitePath. Now after I got the button's path I tried to navigate the WebBrowser again to the new path. But, the WebBrowser navigates again to the same Web Page The Site do not let me to enter the link by program only manually when I click on the button. Is there a way to click on this button by program or other way to enter the path?

I am very new to programming In Visual Basic 2005, and programming in general. I have been working on a snake game for my programming class. I have working version of the game that uses four buttons (up,down,left,right) to control the snake. What I want to do is make it so you can control the snake with the arrow keys on the keyboard instead of having to click the buttons.

View 3 RepliesI am extremely new to VB but i have most of the basics down fairly well. I can create buttons and move objects with arrow keys, for example. I am using VB Express Edition 2008. What I am trying to do is make a very basic game. So far it was going great until a little problem stumped me [see title to see where i am going with this]. Before i added buttons onto the form i was able to move my little circle man with the arrow keys up, down, left and right. When i added buttons it no longer allowed me to do such things. Now moving the arrow keys only allows me to select buttons without the mouse. It is really frustrating because i have been working very hard on this and a problem this small could ruin everything! ;)

The page in webbrowser2 loads correctly but when I make a change to an element it doesn't also change the value in webbrowser1 as it should.
Should I be looking at cookies or something else?

I have a piece of software with two tabs, inside each tab there are buttons (the user can add the buttons when they want). when tab1 is full tab2 should start to fill. I currently know how many buttons fit on the screen so I just say something like if buttons > 150 then start to populate tab 2 The problem i have now though is if the resolution is changed then a different amount of buttons can be displayed. so if I put my screen to 1280x720 some buttons are left of. I was thinking of detecting the resolution and then using different cases for different resolutions but this seems very inefficient im wondering if there is a different way?

I have created a virtual keyboard like the "Windows onscreen keyboard". So, I have used the method sendkeys.But if I click on the button, it doesn't write nothing.

What I would like to do is to have four different buttons (e.g., buttonA, buttonB, buttonC and button D). I wanna give the following instruction to the people: press these buttons in the following order: first buttonA, then buttonB, then buttonC and last buttonD. If they obey this instruction then a picture will be displayed, for instance a happy face. All the other combinations will not activate this picture to be displayed, or in other words, there won't be any consequence. I would also like to save this data using windows note pad e.g., writeline (1, xxxxxx). Is there any chance I will make it?
View 1 Replieslong story short, I have created a ListView type control, using UserControls for the parent control and the ListViewItems. Most the of the control is written and works fine, right up to the point where I tried to replicate the 'Control.SelectedItems(0).Index' property and the 'SelectedIndexChanged' event.
Each child object knows its index value, and could pass this value via the SelectedIndexChanged event (assuming this is how it works in a normal ListView control -- user clicks on an item, and that item fires an event updating the selected index value in the parent object).
How does the child object raise an event in the parent object? I have a feeling this could be done with Delegates, but I'm still learning about their usage.
