WPF Single Instance - Cannot Override The Main Sub In Application.xaml
Mar 29, 2011Has anyone using VB.NET 2010 been able to create a single instance application? I've followed the MSDN sample but it does not have an Application.xaml file. Converting any C# samples to VB doesn't work as I cannot override the Main sub in Application.xaml (C# calls it App.xaml).

May 10, 2011After getting a test WCF hosted in a windows service, I'm trying for another one (practice, practice, practice). I created a WCF service library, added one function. Then created a Windows Service, and added my WCF to the project. Did the rest of the stuff located here ([URL]) Now I'm getting this "Sub Mian was not found in [WCF app]" error when I try to build the solution. I didn't think WCF projects required a Sub Main as they are services and not applications. What am I doing wrong? I didn't have a sub main in my last project.

Aug 1, 2010I am studying Visual Basic How to Progra by Deitel on my own. I am a beginner. My last two programs I have received the error message: Sub Main() not found. I am certain that I typed it in underneat Module Comparison. The program will not run.
Could it be a naming problem? If so can I correct it without re-typing the entire program.
I am using 2008 Visual Basic Trial Edition. Would it be better to use 2010 Visual Studio Professional?

Click Forum Login Button
Oct 30, 2010I'm trying to make a program that will automatically log me into a forum. I have the webbrowser control and a button. the site is automatically loaded on form load. I want it to log me in using my username and password when i click the button. I tried it on [URL] to test and worked fine. But for some reason when I try it with my forum it doesn't work. My forum is SMF. It seems that the problem lies with the Login button itself.
I can easily send the username and password to the corresponding boxes but when it comes to clicking the Login button it fails. What makes that Login button different from the Login button of Yahoo other than having a different name? Below is an example of the code I was using. How can I get it to successfully click the SMF Login button?

Oct 27, 2011Im having trouble getting my code to display the form which would hold the results from this little exam.Whenever I click on my "Score" button in the main form the program just sits there. I need for it to display the Results form if all of the answers that have been inputted are correct, and if one of them isnt I need for it to display the error message. Im thinking the problem is in my Try-Catch statement, but I really have no idea.
