Reading Diameter Circle Can Be Presented Inside Computer?
Aug 7, 2009
what should I doing to interpret reading outer diameter which measures diameter circle by way when I join port usb to pc reading outer diameter will be read in computer when plate placed on top outer diameter to see reading diameter plate that and how way for me doing this process?
Now I want that presented in the listbox with the semicolon and it should be aligned per column so that the numbers, the names, the prices and the quantity are exactly aligned per column. If I read the file like this:
[code]...
Then the semicolon is not presented in the listbox and I don't have any alignment per column. As the names of the woods are not equally long the prices and the quantity are not aligned directly below each other...
My questions are:
1) How to add the semicolon in the listbox as seperator of the columns
2) How to align the 4 columns in the listbox (as I have an array Item(3) )
Later on I need to be able to change the quantity (last column) from 0 to > 0 (that's why I have to use an array)
I'm writing a .NET program for an engineering company. Their specification is to find the number of holes (either of same or different radius) on a rectangular plate and then to find the area of the rectangle and also area of the circle inside that rectangle. It's not essential that the circle touches the rectangle.
I have developed a program which continuously draws a circle using a timer. Now every time the circle gets displays it flickers and which is because i have used me.refresh. Is there any other way to avoid this flickering.
Here is my code Private Sub Timer1_Tick(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As EventArgs) Handles Timer1.Tick
I'm trying to design cathodic protection for offshore pipelines using visual basics. However, I'm not very familiar with vb. I'm hoping I can start with basic calculations like finding pipe surface area etc. how I can design a dialog box to input pipe dimensions like length and diameter to enable me calculate the surface area?
I would like to create an application that can browse the DLL file and use the codes inside it. Not by adding it as a reference, or something. Just browsing the DLL file to use the codes inside it.
How do I play a WAV file while the computer is reading aloud a text file? It uses Text to Speech synthesis and I need a laughter wav to play when the computer comes across something funny in the line.
i just got 1 question how do u create a (in excel ) variable table (database) inside a function which could be called for filling and reading through "for to next" loop module
i have a task to create a TCP Server (a program that is listening on its network card interfaces for incoming data stream).I have search on the internet and i found that i can use two methods : Socket or TCPListener class.I have created an example for Socket class, but i wondering how could i test it? I need to check that if another computer in the network send some string data to the listener computer , then this message should be displayed. Here is the example from microsoft that i am using for TCP Server using Socket:
Public Shared Sub Main() ' Data buffer for incoming data. Dim data = nothingc[code]....
But it does not work because of the PORT setting. If in the TCP Server i have "Dim localEndPoint As New IPEndPoint(ipAddress, 0)" the client crashes, but if i change the port from any (0) to 11000 for example, the client works fine.Do you know why?
Later edit2:Maybe i should have started with this question:Which method is recommended for my scope?asynchronous or synchronous method ?
I am developing a computer application designed to monitor the network and CPU statistics on a computer remotely. The monitored computer would have my program installed and the monitoring computer would display, in a form, the information being sent from the remote client. The application does not send any information regarding packets, user names, passwords, etc. It is solely meant for monitoring CPU performance and Network resources remotely.
What would be the best method to send this information over to my host machine?I am programing in Visual Studio 2008 on windows XP. The client machine is also XP. I know this sounds a little shady, but it is required for my little business (http://www.iquorum.net) to monitor what and when something happens on our machines when I and my employees are away.
i have encountered a problem, i want to access the data coming to the computer from the in-built bluetooth module of a computer on windows platform, this data has been sent by a remote bluetooth module say a by an autonomous device (just like a bluetooth mouse connecting to the computer). The to be sent is in the form of numbers and i need these to manipulate on the computer.
I have a desktop computer with a cable connection on the back that allows me to watch TV on the computer using Windows Media Center. I had the idea of writing a program that would access this feed and send it to another computer (laptop) via my network. That way I would be able to watch TV from anywhere that my network spans. I have no idea if this is possible or how I would even do it,
So I have three questions. 1: Is it possible? 2: How would I go about access the feed? 3: How would I send it over the network?
My original thought was doing it in Flash, but I'm not very good at Flash so I wanted to do it in VB.Net.
I need to copy a file from a local computer to a remote computer on the network, if i try to use File.Copy without logon i get the following error:"Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password."How do I provide user name and password for file copy?
Problem:When my computer restarts my mapped drive appears under My Computer. When I try to use it from code I get errors. If I open the mapped drive by double clicking it, and then try the code, it works. What I discovered is that when my computer starts the status, using net use, is
Private Sub PictureBox1_Paint(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.Windows.Forms.PaintEventArgs) Handles PictureBox1.Paint e.Graphics.DrawEllipse(Pens.AliceBlue, New Rectangle(New Point(0, 0), New Size(PictureBox1.Width, PictureBox1.Height))) End Sub
I am trying to draw a circle in VB.Net, .Net version 4.Nothing shows up in the paintbox.
I have to create an online application which i can apply it on every employee's computer in my company and i have create the application on visual basic 2008 and SQL 2005 using windows application and database. How do you share files from one computer to another that are connected in one wireless internet connection? I mean, it's possible using shared folders this means it could be possible in vb.net too..
I have an assignment and I have to calculate the area of a circle. I have my textboxes and buttons but I don't know how to write the codes and I have followed the directions and the example in my book which is microsoft visualbasic 2008 step by step.
I have created a program that Draw a circle and then you can move it around a picturebox. I have made code so that it changes colour but instead of changing the colour of the circle already been drawn it creates a new circle which when you overlap the original circle with the new circle it cuts part of it.So what I wanted it to do when I change the colour of the circle it changes the colour of the circle already been drawn instead of creating a new circle.
[Code]...
Also I can't use the X and Y coordinate input to move the circle to the entered coordinates.
I am making a whiteboard program. So far I managed to generate the ability to draw lines and other small things. The problem is that I want to make a circle that follows the cursor to display what a dot there would look like. I am aware of the creategraphics property of picture boxes, but when I do that the circle stays there and a new one is generated where the mouse is now (an expected result). My question is, is there a way to draw and delete circles as the mouse moves. Also, is there a more efficient way of doing this. I did try using the OvalShape found in the power pack, but I cannot figure out how to display that over the picture box, when I right click the oval nothing happens.

Using Visual Basic 9 I want to draw a circle and gradientFill the circle using FillGradientStyle = Centraland a FillStyle = SolidWith the same results as can be achieved in The Power Packs 3.0 OvalShape.
