But after I start again navigate username still is there (website is keeping login for 15 minutes), I tried to dispose webbrowser but I can't find control to start it up.Webbrowser is invisible... how I can restart/reboot/clear cache on webbrowser ?

I've build a small web app for the iPad which I was hoping to be able to run offline by using the manifest cache but I can;t get it to work.I am serving the cache-manifest file as a MVC view and setting the content type to text/cache-manifest. The manifest get's processed but doesn't add any items to the cache. Using Firebug I've tried to view the window.applicationcache but it's empty. Must be missing something obvious!The head of my HTML page looks like this

I'm writing a program that uses a webbrowser to update a page and gather its data. But it's reloading the page from the cache. I located the cache and quickly found that it cannot be deleted like normal files.
Now i really only need to delete one file, specifically a javascript file, because that's the only thing i need updated. But deleting the cache is proving to be a bigger problem than i thought, let alone deleting a single item from the cache.
I'm making a webbrowser for the pc's on my school, but I want to clear cache & clear cookies everythime someone exit's the webbrowser. Is there a simple code for it?
View 1 RepliesI am trying to have a DateTime variable which is in a MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm:ss format convert to dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss. I am using VS2008 Pro, and when I create a var:
dim dt as datatime = datetime.now It automatticlly defaults to MM/dd/yyyyy. No matter if I convert, parse, use globalisation or anything... convert to a string, which works with dd/MM/yyyy, but the minute i move it to a DateTime var type it goes back to MM/dd/yyyy I need to use this date/time to insert into a MS SQL Database and the colume is datatime type. But also is part of the app.I do not want this to be a string, I can do that, but I do need it to be a datatime in the correct format (dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss)

Webbrowser2 is disposed of after each web page is received and processed. The size of the private application memory continues to grow as when the disposal was not instigated. I play around with my code some more, then debug again, and end up with the following problems:[code]The previous ten items in the error list are all Warnings, and they've all been in the project for forever, so I don't think they are the issue, here.What is the issue is that Visual Studio refuses delete/copy the XML file, and so will not run. View 11 RepliesI wrote a program that is a system tray app that has no user interface. The issue is that when you shutdown, log off, or restart the PC the app does not shutdown and the user has the "End Now" message box pop up.
The only thing running on this app is that it is listening to a port for communication.
I do not have any code in the form closing event as that is what I want just to close.
I've got a small reminder application I wrote in VB Express 2008. The main app autostarts with Windows and sits in the system tray all the time. Now, I need to save the time (sorta timestamp) it closes/terminates to a file. It works fine when the app is terminated by myself but doesn't when when I shutdown/reboot Windows. The code that saves the timestamp to a file resides in FormClosing event. But for some reason it doesn't fire or the code to save the file doesn't get executed when I shut down/reboot windows.
Is there a way, probably thru' Win API to register my app with Windows, so that windows actually waits for my app to terminate in a sane way after saving the data. I remember of reading about this possibility somewhere, I don't remember now.

Basically when they click search, i wan't it to check the textbox (lets say firstName.text box for now) for there name, then find all the entries in my database that have those names and display them in a grid.
I am trying to search a page for certain links only, but can't seem to find a way to have it 'search' for a 'keyword' in the links, and only list those in a ListBox - What I have now works to grab ALL the links on the page, but I need to only find SPECIFIC ones:

Was updating a project and all of a sudden the auto-filling of a WebBrowserControl's Dropdownbox stopped working. Here is the HTML of the Input box:

I think it is the "onkeyup" thing that isn't getting fired properly so the dropdown list isn't updating itself... it was working fine before, and now, with no changes, it just stopped working. can someone take a look at my code and see if they spot anything? EDIT: attached an image of the dropdown box in question. as I type, it does the lookup. (using the onkeyup event). I am setting the value of the dropdown to the five digit code at run-time, trying to trigger the onkeyup event to get it to get the full line, but it won't work.
In the beginning, I wasn't able to run a flash game on my webbrowser in visual basic. View 2 RepliesI have a VB.NET application and a timer that refreshes the webbrowser every 5 seconds on the application. Now it works 100% fine with Windows Vista. It also works fine on another computer that has Windows XP. But when i come to run this application on my server that has Windows XP installed the application will just not refresh. Is there anything that i can do to code it to FORCE refresh the browser every 5 seconds?
