Save A Button's Coordinates To Database

Currently for the drag and drop button at run time, i am saving the button's coordinates and button text to the text file named button.text.[code]so now i'm actually trying to change the above method to saving the location and the button text in the database instead of the text file but i'm getting the error saying that there is object reference error.I think the database cant save the button x and y coordinates in.how to do using the database method?I am using this method to save the button coordinates and text in. The method is somewhat like the insert dsnewrow. [code]

What type of connector do i need to actually save the Map data like point of the images (x,y coordinate) into the database . and then retrieve it to show on the page in asp.net and how do i go about doing it.

I'm trying to automate using a remote ASP.NET website using the .NET WebBrowser control to simulate user input. I'm trying to call InvokeMember("click") on an image button on the remote site but it doesn't appear to be working and I suspect it is because the X,Y click coordinates that are submitted are both 0,0 (rather than representing real click coordinates). Is there any way I can programmatically set the submitted x,y coordinates to emulate a real click? (BTW I know I'm selecting the correct HTML element on the page so I've exhausted all other possible reasons why this is not working other than the x,y coords!)

I am trying to build a coordinates system but am having trouble with how to.. What I have sofar is a textbox that allows the user to enter a length. This length is user defined but never smaller then 610 in length since this is the minimum unit size we use to build timber frames. The overall length of a timber frame is infinite (well not really, but it is for what I want) the timber frame has beams every 610mm set apart from each other (this is a legal requirement) so I want my vb.net to set coordinates for each beam at intervals of 610 then write that coordinates system to a text based *.SCR file

I want to translate MouseArgEvent.Location (x,y) coordinates into my custom graph coordinates. Mouse Y coordinates increase from top to bottom while my grid's y value increase from bottom to top. Given my following code, I would need to create 21,500 separate conditional expression for 100(y) x 215(x) possible coordinate locations for my grid.

I am wanting to add a date to a database if a checkbox is checked when clicking the save button on the DataBindingNavigator. If it is unchecked I want it to add nothing to the database but if there is something there it clears it. Why can't you add a blank value to a database? I'm stuck on how I can accomplish this. I am creating a hotel room booking form. In my mainform I have several controls that i can use to select/fill eg room number, date, name of visitor, number of days booking etc.I also have table adapter that binds the data source I have a save button in my form and I need to create an event so that it saves the data that I have entered in the mainform to the underlying dataset- i have to use endEdit(), DataRowView methods/properties but can't manage to write the save button event.

in my form i have 4 textboxes and i want all not to be empty while saving the data.I have put condition in save button,when user presses the save button to save data, to check all the textboxes not to be empty. My question is that, i want to focus to that particular textbox which is empty during saving the data.

I have already done the creation of button and the dragging of button at runtime already.But now i need to know how do i save the last dragged button on the form and also detect the name of the last clicked button.so lets say i now drag a button to coordinates 25,254. so when i exit the form and the next time i launch it, the button will still be at 25,254. and this one will go on for the number of button i created like 100. so when i launch the form the 100 button will be at the exact position where i last saved them.the second part is lets say i created button1 and button2 on the form in runtime. so when i clicked the first button, it should display button1. and if i clicked on button 2, it should say button2. same goes for like 100buttons.

Its a League Organizer, basicly ive started it off with 16 teams and end up with 1(winner) 16 box's on the far left, then 8, then 4, then 2, then 1. the 16 box's have "Team 1" "Team 2" etc... ive put a new/clear/open/save button in that order.
BUT this is my problem..when i save(Save Button) the text file saves all the text wrong it ends up like this...Team 1Team 2Team 3Team 4 Etc...
But i want it to save like this

In a word processor of mine, I made a save and open feature, but, I'd like to improve my save feature, so that, when the user tries to save, it doesn't make the user choose the location every single time. So I pretty much want my save to do the same thing as MS Word when you try to save.

I am busy with a Windows Forms application.The purpose of the application is to convert Excel documents to HTML format so that they can be published to a website.I have most of the code finished and the application is looking really good.I have although encountered a problem. On the Form I have created an Export, File and Edit button.With the edit button I would like the user to be able to select whether they would like to save the 1st,2nd,3rd sheet and so forth.
I would like to create a window/Form within the edit button that would say something like "select excel sheet" along with a save button where the required sheet number could be saved or selected as a standard save procedure everytime.I know that I need to do this with the settings.settings control. I have tried numerous ideas up until now but it continues to baffle me.
