Datagridview Don't Save First Row In Database
Jun 5, 2011I use Visual Basic 2008 I use bound Datagridview I use mysql database If i run this code, everything on the screen ( in the datagridview) neatly Updated.But when I look at records in the table "stock" always the first row (0) of the DataGridView not updated in the table "stock"All the other record are updated with where in the datagridview! This always happens!!!How can fix it?

Dec 17, 2009I'm using VB Express 2008 in Windows 7 64-bit. I'm working on a project with a datagridview bound to a MS Access 2007 database. I want to use the datagridview to add, delete and update the data in the MS Access database. When I added the database file to the project through the Datasource Configuration Wizard, I selected 'No' to copy the file to the project folder. The connection string automatically placed in the project settings is: Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source="F:My MoneyDoBillsDoBills2009.accdb"* The 'Copy to Output Directory" property for the DoBills2009DataSet.xsd is set to '*Do not copy*'(and I've tried every other setting available). So, as I understand it, I am working with the original file, not a copy, and any changes (additions, deletions, field changes, etc.) are made directly to the original file. I have added the following code to the datagridview rowleave event: [code]I'll figure out a way to skip the update if nothing is changed, but for right now, it doesn't work. I've searched MSDN, the MS Community forum and several other forums for a solution and all I have found is what I already have and it doesn't work.I can make changes at run-time alright, but the exception it triggered when I change rows, and the data is not saved to the database file.When I close/re-run the app, the changes to the data are not thereThere has to be a way to save changes to the datafile, but I'm just not finding it.

Oct 15, 2009Ive created one database Sql Server Compact Edition 2005, with one table ("Cliente") I know that I can created my database good, but i have a problem saving information since three textbox, in my table(With columns "Nombre" "Apellido" "Cliente". In my form there is a button save ("Guardar"). When I do click in my button appear the next message : "The column cannot contain null values. [ Column name = Nombre,Table name = Cliente ] " and happen the same with apellido and Id_Cliente. And this happen becouse my code cant save the information....

OleDb - Make Path To Database Relative And Save Database?
May 1, 20121. First off, how do I make my path to my database relative? The path is currently absolute and is: Data Source=J:/College/AS_DSFinalDatabase1.accdb
2. Second of all, where do I save my database in the project? I want it to be included in like project folders...kind of like the App_Data folder in ASP.Net.
3. I'm recieving an error whenever I try to populate more than 1 DataGridView upon form load for some reason...I've tried 5 different ways of writing the code, and I get the same error...there's no error description, so does anyone know what the issue is? Here's the error:

How To Save DataGridView Changes
Apr 18, 2011I have a program that loads items into a Datagridview from a text file which works just great. I also need an option to edit the fields, and save that into the text file.
The textfile might look something like this:
"Windows7=Tyranlol-PC=111-111-111=18/04/2011=Has Windows 7"
So my application splits that string for each "=" and loads each field into 5 different datagridview colums I want to be able to replace for example "Windows 7" with "Windows XP" via the datagridview.
