View 1 RepliesThis has really been a problem for me in the past and with deadlines, we decided to just have the app copy the image to the server, rename it and save the link in the database. This is the worst way of saving that kind of sensitive data, I know. We now have the time to fix that.

My problem is with the tickets table, I have listed the user that created the ticket, the tech who will solve the ticket and a user that over sees the ticket. All three users reference the users table. So how do I can I query the tickets table and get all three users that reference the same table storing the users?

How can I update local dataset with mysql database without making duplicates. Assuming I set some column in mysql as primary key, which has unique string.
adapter.fill will just add duplicates, but adapter.clear before that is not an option.
So I want to update if the key column is the same with mysql data and if there is option for ignore adding new row.

I have an app that displays images (using picturebox component). what I am trying to do now is to try to allow the user to resize the image how he wants it (scale). for this i think I need to create an instanece (bmp) clone of the selected image in the picturebox and draw it ontop of the original picture; then specifi new set of size points.I was trying to use the code below:

I want to draw a table in my print output using the System.Drawing.Printing's Graphics object. I'm trying to use the DrawRectangle to draw my table cells. This requires drawing several rectangles in a row. It should be pretty easy, right? Well it appears that DrawRectangle four parameters are x, y, width, and height. However x and y are integers while width and height are singles. My rectangles are overlapping because the next cell in a row cannot base its x position on the width of the previous rectangle. In other words, the x position and width are different data types and don't use the same scale. How can I calculate the x position of the next cell based on the width of the previous cell?
View 1 RepliesI have a scrollable drawing (in the form paint event) with a height / width ratio up to 1: 10 . I can see the entire drawing by scrolling with the left and right arrow keys. Problem is when I need to save or print the drawing.
1. - If I try to print or save with the: PrintForm1 or with some code for a screen capture I get only part of the drawing, which is seen on screen.Is there any possibility that I save the whole drawing (the entire form, even the part that can not be seen) as a bmp or png ... (something like extended window in "Snagit" program)?
2. - If I want to print the whole drawing, I know that I have to make in a several pages. Does anyone have a similar example of this?

I have a timer making canFire true every second. It is a GIF Image, I tested with a PNG image and the lag is barely noticeable. Is there a better way to draw them while still being able to use GIF images?
