Jun 12, 2011I am loading several command buttons into it (one in each grid box). I have the panel set to autoscroll. When TableLayoutPanel is set to AddColumns, all works well. However, I dont want horizontal scroll, I want vertical. When I set TableLayoutPanel to AddRows, a vertical scrollbar will not appear.

I use the 'scroll bar' option on the textbox to show the vertical scroll bar, but how do I make it stay at the bottom most possible? I am using this code while I am trying to learn how to do what I want the scroll bar to:[code]But how do I get it so the scroll bar will stay at the bottom-most it can? I'd like the newest, most recent events to appear at the bottom of the textbox, and to have the user not have to scroll down every time something new is added.

Jun 2, 2010Is there a way to automatically show scroll bars on a multi line edit control only if they are actually required?
i.e. If the text is small enough to fit in the edit box, don't show scroll bars and if the text doesn't fit show the appropriate scroll bars (i.e. vertical, horizontal or both).
Of course I'd like this to be all automatic and not have to recalculate the size of the text myself every time the user adds or delete a character.

Sep 13, 2010My problem is that in the below code, the SelectedRow property returns nothing. I manually bind items to GridView at runtime and autogeneratecolumns and autogenerateselectbutton properties are true.
I think the problem is about having a PostBack when the Select command is clicked.

Scroll Textbox To Show Selected Text?
Jan 8, 2011I want to search the text in my multiline textbox with a vertical scrollbar:
mEvent.Focus()
mEvent.SelectionStart = InStr(mEvent.Text, FindString.Text) - 1
mEvent.SelectionLength = Len(FindString.Text)
This works fine, but if the found text is too far down, I have to manually scroll down to see it. How can I automatically scroll down so that the found text is visible in the text box?

I want to show an explanation and for the addition and subtraction, I want to show it on a number line. For example, if the problem is 3 - 7, the number line should show and arrow to that goes right to 3, and then left 7 units (starting from 3). Then the student can see that the answer is -4.I could probably do this with some string manipulation, but what would be the easiest way to do it in a picture format? Maybe a bitmap.

The problem is that every time a user enters text the scroll bar goes up towards the top, making the user have to manually scroll down to see a new message.
