CheckedListBox: Select Multi Items Listed In The CheckListBox?
Nov 8, 2011Can i select multiple items in a Checked list Box? I have been tryng for soemtime now but I just dont seem to get the multipe selectd items even when I put it in a loop! Listbox has the member of being Selected. A checklistBox doesn't why? I need to select mulitple items in a CheckedListBox and save it in a database.

Jan 7, 2010One of my clients is going from Server 2000, SQL 2000 w/ VB6 to a new environment of Windows SBS 2008, SQL 2005 standard 64bit, w/ Visual Studios 2005. We have a custom built app written all in VB that has been converted. We already took care restoring the databases and setting up the odbc and such. After conversion, the app threw a couple of errors, and warnings, which have been fixed. We have a formload function that is supposed to populate 2 fields with dropdown information. One is a folders list in outlook and the other is a send recipient. The Recipient field populates fine and the outlook email box does not.Here is the formload code. I can't figure out why this would allow one box to fill and not the other.

When an estimate is loaded an e-mail has to go out to a list of people (different list for each job) that they should log in and approve the estimate. Least visible to the user making the estimate. Our should I research SQL mail and see if the sql box can handle it without the app user even knowing it?

Asp.net - Concatenate Text On 3 Different Textboxes To Make Bulleted List In Email Using .NET?
Mar 31, 2011i have 3 textboxes on an asp.net page and i would like to send the text on all those textboxes as an email message body when a button is clicked. I want each text on each textbox to appear on a new line(this i can do), but i also want the lines to be bulleted.

Aug 4, 2009After some digging around both here and the www in general I have plucked the following code to allow me to install a non listed printer driver to my XP machine. Problem is I am unable to get it to function properly.
The first section of the code creates the port every single time with out fail on any machine that I have tried but doesn't seem to function with the addition of the drivers.
I am trying to install HP driver that have been downloaded for HP site (extracted into C:emp1hp3035 ). I am also trying the same with a HP 4730 printer but neither work. I know i'm over looking something but what??
from most of the sites I need both the .ink and the .dll references but the HP .exe when extracted give a scatter of .cab files. I have tried to extract the EN one and use the dll from there still no joy (this it the .dll reference below.)[code]...

I have even tried this with a design Process from the toolbar and set the File, working directory and start info arguments and I get the exact same results. I am not understanding the Argments function or I am doing something wrong and not sending them correctly.
VS 2008 Exceptions Listed During Run Time?
Aug 30, 2009When I run my VB application (as far as I know any application) within Visual Studio I get a bunch of exceptions listed in the Immediate Window. They seem to refer to system files, not the files I generate. They also keep generating as the program processes data. Here is a sample.

Sep 17, 2011My application is in VS2008 coded in vb.net.I have a form with a datagridview which loads data from databaase.there is one column where data is stored separated by comma's.Like Name,Surname,LastName name this column as Testing.I have a checklistbox on another of my form.When the user selects a particular row from datagridview another form open and the row selected records are populated in the control of my other form.My issue is i want to check those items of my checkbox that are present in my Testing Column.I have used and array im able to fetch the records just im not able to check the items in my checklistbox that are present in the column

Sep 7, 2009I managed to create an application that is listed in the 'open with' list only in debug version. Means, when I right click on a file extension and select "open with..." I get the 'choose program' dialog and can browse for my app, nothing impressive. The weird part is, that when I enter the path to the debug version of my program is works, and when doing the same to the release version my app is not even listed, it is simply not shown...
Does anybody know what it needs to make a simple VB.net app be listed here, any fancy debug/release setting?

Oct 23, 2011I have 3 CheckListBoxes, and I want to save all of their "checked" states. I tried to change the code to save and load one to work for three, and this is what I came up with:

Unfortunately, all this does is combine all of the checkboxes into one list (ChxLstSym), and leave the other lists (ChxLstAud and ChxLstEx) completely blank. By this I mean ChxLstSym ends up having 15 checkboxes instead of each of the 3 Lists having 5 checkboxes (Which is how it was before I saved and Loaded), though it does remember which boxes were checked originally.
Is there a way to fix this so that I can save and load the checked states for all three of the checklistboxes (ChxLstSym, ChxLstAud, and ChxLstEx) so that they are all in their own lists upon loading them?

I want the user to be able to select the items they want to remove then press a button and have the items be removed from the array.
