I'm extremely unfamiliar with both .NET and VB.NET and can't quite figure out how to do this. Say I have code like this:

my query is this: I want all of the characters that are of a membership level in a given area that is of admin or above.

I currently use SiteMapPath to generate a breadcrumb for my ASP.net 3.5 (vb.net) pages and it works great.
Now I am trying to figure out how I might be able to use the same control to build a dynamic page title (in the tag). I want a reverse path listed, but the SiteMapPath control includes links and bunch of styling spans. Is there any way to remove all of that, and just get a plain path with separators?
For example, Let's say we are on the "Press Releases" page inside of the "About" section of my site.
The breadcrumb shows up as:
Home > About > Press Releases
I want to have the page title be:
Press Releases - About - Company Name
So I need it to reverse the order, drop all spans, links and styling (since this is inside the tag) and drop the root node "Home" and then add the company name to the end. Since my menu nav and breadrumbs are all driven from the sitemap file, I thought it would make sense to try to make the title do the same.
My application has a number of different users, currently there are different masterpages set up for them. The idea is for some type of breadcrumb in the system i.e. home > details > ...What is the best approach for this? I think I will need to define the separate paths that each user can have (all the pages they can view) in the Web.sitemap (will have multiple SiteMapPaths) and then add the sitemap control to masterpage and link them to the appropriate SiteMapPath, does this sound like the right way to approach this?
I am having an issue with setting up the SiteMapPath within the masterpage. I used the following tutorial http:[url]....aspx to try to use the control, but the SiteMapPath control is not displaying on the masterpage when I log in do you know what the problem might be?

Right now I can add background music in my program by using this code

I can also turn it off and change the music by using this code

Is it possible to pause the music then if I resume the music it will just continue the flow? I mean if I pause the background music in 33 seconds and the music has 50 seconds and I resume it will just continue playing in 33,34,35 etc.. seconds?
I was wondering if their was a way to for me to turn off events and then turn them back on in my program or just queue them up until i am ready for them to be excuted. Kinda like how a OS turns on and off interupts. Is this one of those general programming no-nos?
View 1 RepliesI'm having trouble lining up data from a file with their respectable columns in a list box. I am using print zones to space out data evenly, but when i run the program the output is still messy. So I need lining up columns properly together. As of now, the first 2 list box items line up with each other perfectly, the data i am looping through to add to list box is not lining up correctly. I have changed my zones several times, but still no luck.

What I am trying to do: There are three powershell scripts with different time delays as shown below.I am trying to run them asynchronously in .NET and I followed this article to implement Asyncrhonous programming. View 6 RepliesI am making a small guessing game, and I have a numerical number box in the option forms which sets the max number that can be generated. Because of the way I get the variable it wont update that value correctly. To fix this, I have a label which, upon closing the form, is set to the number of the numerical number box, and the max value is gotten from that label. My question is this: How can I convert a string to an integer? I tried one way, but got (i think, i cant remember exactly) a "First class expectation error" and something to do with "vbexpress.dll" (again, not the exact name) This then caused my Laptop to lag up so much that i couldn't do anything, and had to force crash it. So again, my question is this: How can I convert a string to an integer?

I'm creating a program that creates icons starting at images using vb.net in VS 2008.I wish I could rotate an image displayed in a PictureBox horizontally.The intention is to leave as Windows Vista /7 is the view of putting a folder of image files in this folder within a folder.It (the image) is rotated just a bit not totally aware of the front screen.With a program only had managed to do this with Word 2007, using the new "3D Rotation".But I have to do with VB.Net code.I have looked something about using Google, but found nothing useful.
