i am trying to upload an image and saving image name in database as the session name with extension .jpgi got problem that only the image name saved in database not the extension. i am using this code

I created the upload page using with FileUpload server control. And I used regular expression validator to validate file extension.

I have always used the API for Vb.net from Decaptcher.com and have always sent the Captcha by sending an actual url to them as you see in the code below. Or maybe it uploaded the image anyway to them (I use the Webbrowser Control) [code] But with the current project that I am working on right now I am having to take a screen shot of the captcha image, then save it to my harddrive.I know that through your API Decaptcher allows us to upload the image from our harddrive but I just can't figure out how to use the code to do this. I want to resize the resolution of an image before uploading it to local storage. Right now it saves the image in its full resolution and I have to manually resize it using width="200" height="200" or a css tag in aspx. I want to reduce the file size of an image before storing it, hence by resizing the image resolution when the user uploads it via button. I've tried using System.Drawing before and setting the int imageHeight and int maxWidth to be resized but couldn't seem to get it to work.

I am not using with cmdinsertattachment. I am using Html - Input(File) from the HTML toolbox. the ID of the input file is ID="upldimg". So how do I insert this into my table which is -

I want to use the http:[url....API function to upload a picture onto ImageShack and then obtain the image_link. The only problem is, how do you place an image with its file name with the form-data along with the API key? This is what is stumping me in trying to implement the function.By the way, OpenDialog is already implemented to select the file to upload.

I am trying to compare the contents of 2 collections in a unit test in .NET using MSTEST. To make things simple, instead of having to .Sort() and then loop through the collection and compare items one at a time, I've found the new and very cool .Intersect Extension method.
It seems to work great by doing:
Assert.AreEqual(expected.Count, actual.Intersect(expected).Count)
However, now that I have a test which needs to be case-sensitive, it breaks. I've tried sending Intersect's second parameter StringComparer.Ordinal,StringComparer.InvariantCulture, and StringComparer.CurrentCulture... no luck..

It seems to be removing a matching duplicate 'foo', and a matching duplicate 'BAZ'. Perhaps there is a better way to assert collections are matching?
_EDIT2: I think Intersect() removes duplicates, which is why this is breaking. I Found the CollectionAssert Class.
I have a custom list that inherits Generic.List and it has a method for deselecting all of the members named DeselectAll It has looked like this for a few weeks and has worked fine.

Edit: Stopped Working meaning it no longer sets the property p.ModeEnvoiChoisi to Nothing on each item in the list. The DeselectAll method gets called, but all the items retain their previous values...

I would like the image packaged in the .exe rather than using the file's extension. So if the exe is copied to another computer it will display fine. How can I do this? I was able to do this is the drag and drog editor by importing an image rather than specifying a location, but for my purposes I'd like it done programmatically.

For ex, I could have an extension function called IsNullOrEmptyOrAllSpaces on String, which does a check as its name implies. Or I can write a stand alone function that does the same thing. Other than having the extension show up in Intellisense, is there any advantage? Is a call to the extension quicker/more efficient than a call to a regular function?

I need to keep the original Ratio of the Width to Height of an image file within a picturebox, basically I will have to adjuest either the width or the Hidth of it. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I do this? I was thinking I would have to get the Width and Height attributes of the Picture file with an integer and use a little bit of math to determine the approprate size of the picturebox object.

style attribute does not working. In my code i am using an image for print.I want HAND CURSOR, so i added style attribute like the code below
