For my program I want to use this array to compare all the TxtUserAnswers with all the TxtAnswers, highlghting the same ones green and the wrong ones red. Everything is working except my program seems to be comparing the TxtUserAnswers with the first number included in each sum. Does anyone know why it might be doing this?

View 1 RepliesI have a program that will compare an array of grocery list items glist and an array of coupon item clist.When I compare the two and if there is a match somewhere in the array I want to have a picturebox visible.When there is no match, I want the picture box not to be visible. [code] The code seems to work great until I come to the else statement.When the code finds a match it displays the picture box and the msgbox without error, but as soon as the message box is cleared, even though i've input it as an ELSE statement, the picturebox goes false again.Does anyone have any idea of how I can "hold" the picturebox to stay visible while the match between the arrays exists?

View 1 Repliesand i need to convert the image into a text.now anyone thinking that i can just use ocr is unfortunatly wrong i have tried about 5 of them and they dont work because the text in the image is to small for it to recognise it.so i need to search the above image for a smaller image such as this.so by doing this if i get a result saying true then i will be able to go from be there and convert to text.now i know of two way to search an image for a smaller image. first is by going by pixel search and well i can get that to work but it is to slow.the second method is to convert the image to a byte array(beig an image it will be a 2d byte array) and convert the other image to a byte array and then compare.

View 2 RepliesI have a query I'm using to identify a group of contracts that have expired. The query has a ContractID, Status, Start Date and End Date. For each contract, I need to go to a directory and search for a file to import. That part works just fine, but how can I put a qualifier in to check for contracts that have the same start and end date? Do I need to create a multi-dimensional array for this or can I use the query I have? The part in bold text is where I need to identify identical start/end dates. Comments identify pieces to be developed and message boxes to help me confirm what's happening as I run the code:

This is Just as sample data, my original data is more than this.I've open the DATA.txt file using FileStreamReader:

I've only figure out load items from only one column/array into combobox with out duplication.But can't figure out to compare the value of one column/array with another column/array and load it into listbox. unordered text file of 3 columns to assign into 2 arrays. I've been given a graphing component which expects a two dimensional array for a scatter graph for the set of values in the last column.
How would I parse through the list given an indexed array of 215 possible 'zone alarm locations' and if an alarm log list item, of which there can more than one for any given zone location, compare in the two dimensional array any previous value and replace it with the higher valued one? The following are my declarations for the 2 arrays. It isn't clear to me why the array for the scatter data was defined as (999,1) knowing there are only 215 possible x values (alarm zone locations)

Okay what i what to do is to compare one picture to another continuously untill it finds a change and then launches my code. Picture 1 - A picture i put to the form Picture 2 - I wont this to take a picture in a certain area and compare it to the first picture. lets say the first screen shot it took didn't match 'Picture 1' then it will keep taking pictures until it finds something different and when it finds something different it will launch my code.
I dont know if this is the right way to go since i heard something about pixel scanning but that's to hard since you have to find the exact RGB of that pixel. Also theirs like billions on the screen so it would be hard to find a change of color on the screen and then launch a code after that and keep repeating.
