Winforms Web Browser Control Not Firing Document Complete With AJAX Website
Mar 18, 2010The VB.Net desktop app uses the IE browser control to navigate the web. When a normal page loads the document_complete event fires and I can read the resulting page and go from there. The issue I am having is that the page I am driving is written with AJAX, so the document complete event never fires. Furthermore, when you view the source of the page after it loaded a new portion via AJAX, it hasn't change.

Mar 18, 2010I am using a WebBrowser control in VB.NET and calling the Print() method. I am printing out using a PDF printer and when Print() is called it is not immediately kicked off (it waits until it has completed running code for the entire Sub or block.
I need to make sure the file I am printing too is complete and continue process with this file, therefore, I would like to print on demand and get some status of when the operation is complete. I have tried usign printDocument and process without luck.

May 5, 2011I created a function to check if my webbrowser control is completed loading, however, it dosent seem to "wait" until its webbrowser is done loading the page.

I want to check if 2 or even 3 browsers are completely done loading, so i even had something like this.

.net - Datagridview Cellcontentclick Event Not Getting Time To Complete
Apr 11, 2012i have a datagridview i have an edit button associated with each row. on CellContentClick event i am dynamically deleting and creating number of textbox and label controls in my tablelayoutpanel this dynamic deletion and creation of control is taking some time also flickering (well thats not a big issuse)but the problem is if someone continuously keep clicking on edit buttons of various rows after some time the whole tablelayoutpanel is a complete mess.
accordng to me this is happening coz my CellContentClick event is not geting time to complete and before the event get complete one click the edit button of some other row . and i am unable to handle this situation

Jul 2, 2010In Key Press Event i have put the logic of search in textbox, when i press enter key it will take the values from textbox and brings the data in DataGrid.In another event of GotFocus there is an logic of autocompletestring collection from Table. If i type a in that textbox it will shows all the suggested string in that.If i comment the logic of GotFocus Event for textbox for autocomplete suggestion then only then Key Press events work else its not working.

Dec 3, 2010I have been trying to switch my code from using an ie object to using a built in webbrowser. Most of the properties are the same but I have run into an issue getting an xmldocument from a page.

There could be tables etc in the html, but it shouldnt matter. i was wondering if there is a way to check if there is an @ if there is get all text to right and left until space, or any letter or number...?

Jun 6, 2010In a webbrowser control when I set the document text, either by ebBrowser1.Navigate(file_path) or WebBrowser1.DocumentText = String it instantly calls WebBrowser1_Navigating and this blanks the document.The document will load properly if I remove the _navigating method, but I need it for other purposes

Apr 17, 2012I use the webbrowser control in my program but when after navigate to a site. I try to get some element on the using the document of the webbrowser (like getelementbyid ... ) I notice that some element are missing. I know that elements are dynamically inserted into the page by some javascript. I searched method to get those element and I try to get them injecting a javascript to be executed in the page and return some element by window.external method (or just to try by alert) but even if this script are executed they just return the same result as the method on the document in the original code. Is there a way to access to this 'invisible' element in my program in some way just like I access them by pressing F12 in Internet Explorer?

Sep 17, 2009I have a Word document in a WebBrowser. I modify the doc and save it with another name in another path. Finally I close my form and put my doc as nothing. My problem is that a dialog box appears sugesting me saving the changes (the changes done in the initial path) but i have already saved my document so I always want to select "No", how can I avoid this dialog box? Or if it isn't possible, how can I automatize this action?

The problem is, when I first select something in the ListBox, it successfully navigates to that file and displays it. But when I select something a second time it doesn't change.
All of the paths it's trying to navigate to are correct. I've checked this 1000 times.

Jan 7, 2010I am trying to get the HTML inside a HTMLElement which has an id "block". I have tried:

But it keep throwing a NullReferenceException and tells me to check if it null/nothing which is what I'm doing.
So how do I check if an element in a HTMLdocument with a certain ID exists?
