XPath When A Root Node And Element Have Different Name Space Attributes?

I need Xpath of the "element" in above XML using VB.Net NameSpace Manager For the "body" node i have done and its working but i couldnt do the same to "element":

where "nsmngr" is the namespacemanger created by me and "ns" is the name space of the "parent node" (which the "body" node inherits) added to the namespace manager as "ns"

Null Returned When Selecting A Node In XML Document?
Jun 9, 2009New to XML. I have a 3rd party webservice that supplies an XML document that I have to update the element values and pass back. The core issue issue is I get an NullReferenceException error when calling the node.RemoveAll() method in the code below. I'm calling the RemoveAll() method because each element has the xsi:nil attribute when it is supplied to me, and if I don't remove it before updating the element value, the XML won't validate by the webservice.The XML document supplied by the 3rd party webservice is as follows:

I've seen have used the XmlNamespaceManager, but I haven't been able to make it work. This xml document has a namespace specified for the TaskData element, and a different namespace for the RequestInfo element. I tried specifying the XmlNamespaceManager variable for each namespace, but got the same results....hovering over the nsmgr variable while in break mode reveals that the "children could not be evaluated" and that the DefaultNamespace property is an empty string.

TreeView - Selecting Node From Parent Form
Mar 7, 2012When I select a node from treeview, it correctly shows the child form. However, when I close the child form and select the same node from the parent form, nothing happens.

VS 2008 Preventing A User From Selecting A TreeView Node?
Dec 13, 2009I have a TreeView that I am using for display purposes only. I don't want the user to be able to select any of the nodes. Setting the enabled property of the form to False doesn't suffice since it changes the entire look of the nodes.
I tried canceling the select action in the BeforeExpand event. It kind of works. It selects, then de-selects the item. I'm going to play around with other events to see

Where classrm is the name of the entity and db is declared as a new entity. What I am trying to do is select a row from the entity based on matching Course_ID which in this model is a string. So that I can later use the variable _classRoom to get other items out of the same row.. However I am getting the following error:
Unable to cast object of type 'System.Data.Objects.ObjectQuery`1[System.Boolean]' to type 'Trial_Online.classrm'.
I have to preform similar tasks with several different Entities but if I get pointed in the right direction I can manage from there...

DateTimePicker: Selecting A Range Of Hours Within A Single Day Only
Sep 18, 2009I'm looking for a way to use two DateTimePicker controls to select a range of hours and minutes within one day. That is, to basically select a 'starting time' and 'ending time'.
I started with two DateTimePicker controls with the custom format of h:mm tt. I tried adding (on ValueChanged), a check that made the selected 'starting time' will become the 'ending times' minimum and vice versa, the 'ending time' becoming the 'starting times' maximum
However, that approach didn't seem to work -- I was still able to select 11.00 AM on the 'ending time' and 1.00 PM on the 'starting time'. I have a feeling that the current day of the timestamp has something to do with it (e.g. the starting time is of the previous day, and therefore is less).
I thought about changing to a combo box of preset half hour intervals throughout the day; however the minutes need to be more flexible than that...

Windows Treeview Not Rendering For Single Node?
Dec 30, 2011In my windows form project (VS2010) I have a treeview object that is populated based upon a drop down selection. Initially when I have one node populated in the treeview (at startup) it displays fine. If I navigate away from that (by selecting another option) which has multiple nodes and it renders fine.When I go back to the selection that has a single node it does not display at all. If I double click in the area the node should be, the double click event fires. If I add a value as a second node, it renders correctly every time.The treeview control is not bound to a datasource. It is built by looping through the data and then building the child nodes as it populates the parent

Strongly Typed DataSet Return All Columns When Selecting A Single Column?
Jan 17, 2012I am using a Strongly Typed Dataset as DAL. I want to return a single column from my table for that i wrote the code as

But when i previewed the data, it shows me all the columns of the table with Null Value and the column with primary key has -1 value. This condition raise an Exception when i link this query to a ComboBox ..

Nov 26, 2011i have a treeview which has a bunch of parent and child nodes preset at design time, there is 1 parent node tho which is called developer, that i want to add child nodes to at runtime.When the form first loads im trying to have it check a text file and for each line in the text file add the text/string from that as a child node tot he 'developer' parent node.
